    I’m choosing to be optimistic about this one. I watched him tear us a new one for RBL in the Champions League just before Covid, was so impressed and gutted when he went to Chelsea. Now that was 4 years ago but if Ange can get some of that out of him I don’t see a risk here.

    A lot of good work done earlier in the window but the bottom line is we still have about 5 to many players, sold our greatest ever played and not even tried to replace him, have one striker in the squad and are a Romero / VDV injury away from an absolute disaster. Negligence, pure negligence!

    So if they, or anyone else, buys a 25% share - presumably the initial investment just buys the shares from Levy and Co. Are we then reliant on the new partial owners wanging more money in, or on levy reinvesting the £1bn? thanks in adancze.

    I think as it stands now, we are a couple of players light but things were never all going to be fixed in one window. Would be great to add another attacking option to the bench (on the basis Gil is going / isnt fully trusted yet) and in a dream world we'd add a Perisic'esque RWB as well...
