Ok going to try to look at the positives.

everton defeat = we went strongly into the transfer market

this joke of a decision = might help create a type of siege mentality within the club that will help us in the long run. Jose will use this to positive effect within the club for sure.

Honestly I think refs are getting into Nerumberg trials territory with this rule: "Was just doing my job"

FUCK OFF.

I'm well aware I'm throwing my toys out of the pram, but thats it. My sky sports subscription is gone tomorrow. I am not paying money to support this shit. It's not just this one game - it's the THIRD game this weekend ruined. I've had it.

Jose alluding to that sky 4 get decisions spurs dont. So true on the evidence of today and this corresponding fixture last year. Shocking decisions that would make u qustion the intergrity of officals. Its almost like the want controversial decisions at the end, hmmm make for better headlines and anaylsis.

Harsh rule but correctly applied.

The game should've been killed off long before then. We were walking a tightrope as long as it remained 1-0. We can fu@king bitch and moan all we want but it doesn't change anything. Couldn't convert our chances. Couldn't deal with Carroll when he came on.

And Dier is still a complete and utter waste of fu@king space. Offers absolutely zero. Missed an open header. Can't pass, can't tackle, has the mobility of a London bus. A liability. Every opponent will clearly target him. Useless.
I don't usually keyboard warrior, but this is an exceptionally moronic post. The fact we didn't take our chances is annoying. But Newcastle did not lay a glove on us - they scored as a result of possibly the most injudicious law/rule in all of sports. To have a dig a Dier just shows you have an agenda.

Stop being a pompous plum.

What did José say at the end about the difference of being at a club without a winning history? It was odd, and a little ominous...

Might be 5 points behind Arsenal after three games because of that disgrace.

Fuck off.

I honestly don’t care about league positions at the moment - if this rule continues then football won’t be worth following and by the time May comes around I’ll be oblivious to who has finished where. They’ve reduced a sport to a lottery and it stinks.

Game is gone, I thought last week against Doherty was bad, yesterday against Joel Ward was a travesty, but that right there, 1 yard away and not facing the ball is an absolute joke. Good team performance overall and fully deserved the 3 points and clean sheet. Just a disgraceful decision that leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

You're right, we should have scored a several goals but we didn't. That can happen. Last week we scored five away, I wouldn't beat the team up too much over this, yes it's frustrating that we didn't kill the game off but in this instance I feel there's a bigger issue to complain about.
Yeah you're probably right, I meant it more as a secondary point as the penalty is obviously an absolute fluke and frankly a travesty. Just frustrating when you watch Newcastle go from 20% possession to 62% in the second half. Understand it's a building process.

Nah I'm still fuming, absolutely livid

In the What's app group and mate's who support Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool are pissed off at the fact that football is clearly broken.

Yeah, we should’ve been out of sight, but the point is we could’ve kept playing for another fucking week and they never looked like scoring. Straight robbed by the worst rule ever. I think the worst part is I can’t even blame the ref (although the free kick was a shit decision) or var. the rule is absolutely fucking stupid. There’s gonna probably be on average a pen or more a game because with this rule, everyone is forced to defend with their arms behind their back and jump without using their arms. Oh yeah I forgot that if you’re falling, you shouldn’t brace yourself because what if the ball hits your arm. Fucking done with this. Absolute shite.

I’ve not seen anyone say that. We didn’t deserve to lose, but we obviously needed an insurance policy of a 2nd to protect against the risk of a bad decision. They are always possible (and with the shit handball rule, probable).
we will just concede 2 pens with this shit rule
