Don't talk rubbish, Newcastle did nothing other than defend and that can happen and 1 nil wins happen or at least use to. We were screwed by tech and dumb refs.

Fuck VAR. I thought that was a top example of game management. We could have had another couple, but we looked so comfortable to see the game out. Really feel for Jose and the players after that.

Not logged on in a while but just had to come on and say that was absolutely ridiculous and the same as the non handball last week. Do they want players to jump with arms by their side? How do they expect players to stay balanced?

I'm glad Jose walked off the pitch, he should say his bit as this will ruin football.

I think they implemented this because some smart ass who spent all the money on VAR wants it used on as many things as possible.

Waste of 90 minutes

Theres something serioulsy wrong here. First it was never a free. I also believe had that offside been checked against us they would show it was odfside. Then the decision joke. I think the clubs have to get together here and show spormanship. If awarded a crazy decision like this be big enough to kick the pen wide.

Don't give me this "didn't kill the game" bullshit. Does 1-0 not count as a scoreline? We kept them to 0 shots on target fair and square and played the perfect game and *still* got fucked over. If we conceded a legitimate goal, then you can talk about the chances we missed. This is robbery by the officials plain and simple.

I am fucking seething.

We were punished due to so many chances going amiss. Kane should have been subbed today, he was way off his best. Ne3wcastel did not deserve to get a draw, only ourselves to blame. The rule of handball needs to be changed immediately. We just threw away another two points.

Now you no longer have to shoot at the goal but just practicing lobbing balls into the penalty area and hoping for it to hit someone’s hands. Its worth having three basketball players on the bench around 7ft talk so you can fling them on at the end of a tight game and lump balls into the area.
Newcastle did not need an attempt on target to get a result.

But once again we failed to score goals and the JM method of not having possession and suckering better teams in works for Newcastle

Terrible VAR ruling ruined what should have been a good 3 points. I know, the attack wasn't great with finishing but great teams win games when they are not at their best. That's what today would have been. A really good win, coming at the end of a busy week in a game where we didn't play great.

I said it yesterday - this makes the decision in the Arse V WHAM game even more annoying. It's unbelivable they got away with that last week and you look at what's been given this weekend ...

Points dropped because of a law that makes zero sense. At what cost.
