Lo Celso changes how we play.
Cannot wait to see Son, Kane and Bale together we could be incredible going forward. Work to be done defensively but big win for us.

For those 10 minutes Kane dropped into midfield. They didn't know what hit them. Well done Jose

Good second half performance. But still big problems to work on! Defence is extremely worrying. Winks had better second half but was woeful in first half to follow on from his woeful performance against Everton. Moura also had to be benched.

Second half, offensively wonderful. Kane and Son, deadly.

Still very suspect at the back though. Winks, Dier and Sanchez were average.

Nice result.

And to top it off just got a free month's sub to Premier sport after complaining about the Europa coverage. (hopefully we're in it long enough to make it count...)

Handball rule is fucked. Someone else said, just kick it onto a players arm, and it’s a pen. That needs to be sorted out. Kane and son brilliant, ndombele changed the game though and gave us belief for the second half.

Didn't see the first half, but we were great going forward in the second half! And defensively a lot better... Still need improvement there though.

Was the comments on here for the first half correct or too many bed wetters and we weren't that bad?

If we get N’Dombelle fitter and then swap Winks for GLC (Winks is just ineffectual in my view, lucky to be here) and then upgrade Dier with the two new signings we SHOULD be hopeful of a good season, but I’m not getting carried away by this.

Much better second half, absolute clinic of finishing 1 on 1s from Sonny. Assisted by Saints catastrophic tactics though, its gotta be said.

Must spread some confidence through the team..........COYS!!

A massive win for the rest of season going forward. Everyone has started so strongly and the pressure would have been pretty severe already. Something to build on.

The rule should be that if your hand was in a natural position and.you couldn't get it out of the way, it shouldn't be a handball. The current rule seems like it was designed to destroy VAR as people who like football can only be disgusted by it.
It was designed to give more clarity so VAR could make more 'objective decisions'. I know the common sense approach was flawed, but was a damn sight better than what we have now. Natural position now means against the side of your body etc. The game will always have subjectivity, the crusade by the authorities to eradicated is misguided and will only create more issues and hurt the game in terms of entertainment (though not the media narratives, that some like to confuse with the game).
