So now strikers can just kick the ball at defenders hands in the area and you get a penalty. Glad that’s clear. We should start doing that every game.

GLC is our new Eriksen, and possibly better. If he plays behind the awesome trio all the time, we'll go places. There's plenty to sort out, not least the standing off nonsense we seem to do on purpose. But even agent Mourinho should be able to get a tune out of this side. He just needs to trust our creativity more.
If we cut out the aimless punts and play more dynamically as we have in this second half we will be fine.

Well this will have ruined Merson’s and the rest of Sky Sports weekend now. Will need to chat shit about another club.

The rule should be that if your hand was in a natural position and.you couldn't get it out of the way, it shouldn't be a handball. The current rule seems like it was designed to destroy VAR as people who like football can only be disgusted by it.

Djenepo has been adventurous for them in fits and starts. Seems to want inch perfect presentation but when a pass catches him in his stride he does enjoy running at players, Armstrong started well but ran out of steam as the first half wound down. They really need to keep hold of Ings.

That decision is just as stupid as the one at Utd yesterday. No intent in either case.

It's not VAR. It's the rules.

To clarify this further in both cases the ref has come over to view it himself and in both situations awarded a penalty.

VAR and the ref are implementing the rules. The rules are stupid. This will change in a few weeks after the on-going complaints where everyone in the game are in disbelief.

At 5-1 it doesn't impact the result. However, imagine if it was a tight game and we were winning just 1-0.

The media should really question the FA and VAR why Arsenal got away with an obvious handball while Spurs and United got these dodgy ones..

Excellent win nonetheless. Confidence building win. Sonny and Kane sharp as anything.
