As happy as I am that Bale is coming back I’m not sure about all this coming home and I place I want to be business. Can’t remember Bale saying anything about us since he left and he forced his move through by basically going on strike.
Spurs are simply Bale preferred choice out of the options available which is still great to be honest but let’s not pretend it’s anything more than that

He said when he left that he hoped he might come back one day.

P.S. Isn't it nice when other fans are nice. (You should follow this guy if you don't - really good Tweeter person).

I recall that summer he left, I thought he was a **** for leaving and the way he left. In hindsight he had to leave, we weren't going to win four CLs or pay him 600k or give him PL titles etc.

I look at Kane, he has been loyal to us, and now he is 26/27 and will also need to leave to win trophies and get the 300k a week etc.

In over the bale issue now and see the light that ultimately he had to leave. He ain't a **** anymore to me, the Madrid fans are ****s though

He’s a great all round football account, highly recommend following. His ‘pettiness’ tweets are one of the best things on twitter.

It’s been said, but it’s fucking gutting that he won’t be able to get the massive stadium ovation on his first appearance.

I’m sure it would mean a lot to him after the last couple years of Madrid/Zidane bullshit.

Let's show him the love he never got in Madrid despite scoring in and winning finals. Just watching all his 105 goals for Real Madrid and actually I want him in the box on corners. So many headed goals.

yes attack and defence his got a great leap and heads really well. He also takes a great free kick, be interesting to see him play behind Kane sometimes

Watching his celebrations with Luka just makes me want us to bring him back too ?

I'm aware I might sound a bit like a Liverpool fan here, but I do take a lot of pride on how our club turns a lot of our ex players into fans of Spurs.

Graham Roberts, Micky Hazard, David Ginola, Jermaine Jenas, Michael Dawson, van der Vaart, Brad Friedel etc the list goes on, but all players who weren't born locally, and played for other clubs, but left as Spurs fans. Sure there are many more, but just from top of my head.

I get the feeling that Bale is like that too, genuinely loved his time here and as his agent says, we have a special place in his heart.
