So we get to play Shkendija from Macedonia next... yeah me neither.

The only thing I Have discovered about them so far is that their stadium doesnt meet UEFA criteria...

Don’t know how we won that to be fair. We were shit.
Perhaps, but during the little I got to watch we were controlling the game and attacking. Lokomotiv were hanging on and doing nothing to deserve anything but a loss. Obviously I missed half the game though...

I honestly don’t think the performance was quite as bad as many were saying. Son was piss poor and fucked up multiple gilt-edged chances, Bergwijn hit the bar and created a situation that was an absolute fucking stonewall penalty, etc.
Agree with this. It was individual finishing that let us down, we created more than enough chances. The goal conceded is extremely poor but again comes from individuals switching off.

Factor in a nailed on penalty as well and it wasn't all bad, but we have to do better in both boxes and particularly the one we're attacking.

Ndombers may not look particularly sharp or incisive with his runs, but his passing certainly is.

The tempo goes up a notch when he starts zipping passes in and around the penalty area.

That was hilarious - not even worth getting worked up about how bad we played, the whole game was a complete mess.

One things for sure, we created so much more with Ndombele and Lo Celso on the pitch together.
I'll take your word for it - didn't get to see that much - thanks Premier Sport :cautious:

Looks like I'll be reposting this every fucking page.

Times like this is when I really wish people knew how TV and signal transmission worked.

You may well be watching on an internet stream but that doesn't mean an internet connection is the problem. In this case it was a satellite uplink problem. And as people around the world reported the same problem that doesn't make it your broadcaster's fault, it's clearly a local problem on site or at least from the Bulgarian provider.

At the end of the season when Hugo lifts the Europa League trophy they'll refer back to the last ten minutes of this game as the starting point on our path to glory. :)

Still embarassed eventhough we won. Just depressing really.

Just feels like we are in preseason to me. Harry looked the same when we came back from lockdown but after a few games he was up and firing. Lo Celso hasn’t played at all. Ndombele isn’t ready for full matches. I’m actually happy we get these Thursday games right now to knock this competitive rust off.
