what about the naughty kids that don’t have access to that particular section of the site?

would a donation to SC restore ones access along with a promise never to be naughty and step out of line again?

Probably not , but I hear there are to be some amnesties which would be absolutely brilliant .Permabans superharsh imo .

really interested to see what systems of play jose comes up with given the flexibility the team will have with the incomings. Part of me would love to see a two man front of Kane and Bale with others such as Son, Moura, or any of the speed merchants coming up the wings. And while moura has his detractions, his tracking back would free Gareth (assuming he played on the same side) up to play a little bit more forward which would obviously cause an abundance of caution from opposing teams to bring their backs forward. LOL. the more you think about this, the greater the flexibility of this team is creating match up problems for most teams. i'm not sold on the two man front and sure that others will come up with equally and better intriguing strategies but what jose chooses to do on a game by game basis will really tell us if he still has it. fun times to be a spurs fan

Looks like he might go to a back 3 with the in comings?

Dier is much better in a 3 and this new left back sounds like he’s the perfect wing back...

Respect Jose hugely for admitting to the media the Sissoko sub didn’t work and made us worse, also like that he is being very complimentary towards Dele's personality, with regards his reaction to the sub.

But stepping out of line is all subjective anyway, isn't it. I was banned for warning intently that a certain summer window looked set to become shite, and that window we signed no-one in the end. So in hindsight I'd probably do that over again, hence be banned all over again, so I can't really promise to not "step out of line".
Nah, trust me, life is better on the outside. When banned, you get to spend time feeling the sunshine and the brunettes out and about in see-through tops, which outranks transfer rumours anyway.

God only knows what that part of the site looks like.

We’ve only been linked to about 137 players in this/every window!

I must say Jose seems to be making a difference to our efficiency in the transfer market. Every other club he's been at he's done pretty great business and generally quickly transformed teams. Especially in his 2nd spell at Chelsea signing Costa, Willian, Fabregas, Matic, Zouma, and bringing Courtois back. At Real Madrid he signed Modric, Ozil, Coentrao, Khedira, and Di Maria - basically an instant transformation.

The flip side to that is the manager who comes in after him usually reaps the major rewards of that business. He's perhaps not the best at getting those signings to fulfill their highest potential. But the man knows how to build a great team on paper imo.

So so spot on.

This is why when people said about not wanting him to be manager under the re-build I was saying that he's probably the absolute best person to have, he absolutely knows how to highlight the weaknesses in a squad and address them in the transfer market.

If it's similar to other clubs, there will be an up and then a down (and he's always sacked during the down). I'd like to see us not sack him and see if he can come through the other side. Or just make him the director of football lol

Jose’s got some weapons now. An all-star front three, decent backups for them. Some pace and penetration out wide.

if he can find a CB and a back-up No 9 he will have close to the squad he wants.

Now he’s got to find a way to get this team playing post-Eriksen. To me, the team itself was struggling with two things last season. One was the CL final loss, which sucked the zest out of a lot of players, and secondly the reliance on Eriksen to conduct the side. We still haven’t really put in a real performance of note without him, and it’s a mental barrier that other players need to take responsibility for.

Maybe we go for a faux-Liverpool style and try and use our new fullback as wide creators, let the front three loose and use midfield as base to operate from.

Its Dembele who has been the biggest loss.

And Wanyama for me. Without the respective qualities of him and Dembele, we've always struggled for any control with 2 in CM. I'd have personally preferred a more conventional 'destroyer' type DM than Hojbjerg, or at least how Hojbjerg has been deployed so far. I think for now 433 or something else that doesn't rely on a pivot is the way forward for us and have been saying so for nearly 2 years now.
