Normally you get excited to see how a new signing performs, I’m more excited to see how other players perform with him sitting in front of the defence. Was such an important signing and I think we’ve got a good one in. Get the best right back we can find/afford next and I’ll be relatively relaxed in terms of other signings this window.

Very close. the "jerg" in "bjerg" is pronounced "yeah/y-air". So 'Hoy-byeah would be somewhat closer I'd say.
Høj (high) Bjerg (mountain/hill). Højbjerg is an area in the southern part of Aarhus.
Extremely difficult to pronounce much like some Belgian and Dutch names.

That Spanglish fellah on here - @RickyVilla might know.

Guess we find out how to pronounce his name in season 2 trailer of the Amazon docu-series. “Everyone pronounces my name wrong it’s ..”

I'm genuinely delighted that we've finally signed someone who can properly screen the defence. Please, no more Winks and Sissoko together.

It boggles my mind that people can see a name on a player's back for a number of years and are still never able to write the name correctly. Zokora, Eriksen and Gomes aren't hard to spell, yet we constantly saw Zakora, Erikson, Ericksen, Eriksson and Gomez on here.

I can accept that Højbjerg is harder to get right, especially with the ø.
Why does it matter? Honestly. I understand fully the player the poster is commenting on. Comment more important than the name surely Murty?

Slightly different style of player - but hopefully he can have the same kind of impact Scott Parker did we he came in. Definitely think he’ll glue our midfield together and we’ll be more solid.

Honestly I think not getting a player's name right is simple disrespect and lack of courtesy.
Ok then, where's your accent over the 'a' in Sánchez's name in this post. Disgraceful.

Wonder if Jan's in because Sanchez has played so poorly he's fallen down the pecking order or if he's being rested for Sunday...

It's annoying as fuck, but to say it's disrespectful is way OTT.
It's about showing the bare minimum. Players names is the absolute basic bare minimum, if you can't get them right it shows people don't give a toss.
