was the the best CB in the league for a couple of years there imo will miss him

and just seems like a good guy everyone likes him hope he comes back one day in some capacity

Surely has a couple of years left at the top as the experienced partner in a team that keeps the ball more, next to someone more athletic.

Like us before Mourinho next to Sanchez... I don't think he can handle the pace of a league like the prem or bundesliga. Would be smart of him to spend a year or two in Italy.

Maybe. I could see him doing well at City for a year next to Laporte. Obviously that's not happening now tho.

Strong rumours that he's set to turn down Benfica and join Sporting, and I'd just like to say that even in leaving Spurs, Jan continues to please me.

I was expecting Italy, but Portugal is nice if you like potatoes. Added benefit of learning a language useful in Brazil.
