Marcus will take one look as how Sessingnon has done and think, “yea I’ll have some of that”.

Or, he is Jose’s new Willian.
Willian’s work rate was phenomenal under Jose. Unless he’s changed his ways massively I don’t see that at all

Or will take one look as how Tanganga has done. It doesn't make any sense to compare this 2 players.

Stranger things have happened. If he's sorted his attitude out and senior people at the club still rate him highly, and his problem (tightly or wrongly) was Poch, then maaaaaaaybe baby.

If there is any truth in this, can imagine with Jose’s contacts in Portugal, and Poch gone, maybe this could be more viable than first thought?

Don’t think he’s coming back, Lilywhite Rose mentioned as much on Twitter. Good news is if he does go for around 20m, 10m in our pockets is very nice.

I would rather have marcus edwards instead of lucas moura

Funnily enough, I've always been dead against bringing in average players over our most talented. In this case I actually didn't mind it as Moura was a Brazilian international and from PSG and one of those former potential world class talents. Now, he has struggled and Edwards is showing everything in Portugal that I thought he could have done for us.

There should be a lot more to come from him. Hope he continues the upward trajectory as England will be a proper force.

He was loaned out to Norwich City and Dutch club Excelsior and there is a concern that he feels he was not given the chances he deserved to become a first-team star.
Indeed, such is that concern that one source familiar with the player’s situation has claimed that he would much prefer a move to Arsenal.

It is not known if the Gunners have expressed an interest in securing his signature, but it suggests that there is a bad feeling lingering over Edwards’ departure.
It must be mentioned, though, that if Arsenal do decide to take a gamble on the former England U20 international, they will essentially be placing cash in the pockets of their bitter rivals, due to the aforementioned sell-on clause.

Bare in mind that this is the Portuguese league we're talking about. We've seen many talented players coming over to England, France, Italy etc. and never quite made it. It's not the same tempo and physical play as it is i.e. Premier League.

Edit; why is this thread in the loan watch thread?

A bit disappointing to see Gedson takes a squad place here and Edwards don't.

Fair enough Edwards' attitude is in question, but he looks a superb prospect that would be super annoying to see succeed at another club.
