No Europa wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. We could trim the squad down and have a group of 15-16.

Then I suppose we could flog 2 of the home subs seats on eBay as they wouldn’t be needed. You should email Levy.

Hope we fire mou and rehire poch
We have to let that go.

Monaco fired Jardim and got Henry in, only for them to retire Jardim a few months later. He was sacked again not so long after.

Why? Because everything is still in recent memory, the coach hasn't moved on with new methods and the squad is largely the same.

If we are firing, Nagelsmann, Gasperini, Nuno, and a few others should all be on that list. Why? Because in a situation like this you need something fresh.

The downside to this would be the inevitable sale of Kane as I think he probably was prepared to give Jose the chance to see if he could turn us into winners. Now, I imagine he's thinking about someone like City or Madrid.

I completely agree with the thread being renamed 'Race for the Top 10', but think it's still on the optimistic side. 'Race to finish above West Ham' might be more appropriate. Anybody who thinks that we have a snowball's chance in hell of getting into any european competition next season is, to put it kindly, a supreme optimist.

I don't usually give a fuck what they do, but possibly the most depressing thing about this entire shit show is that the Goons have probably got their worst team/squad since before Wenger took over and yet they're still above us in the table.

Kane needs to go to Bayern, Barca or Madrid for his own careers sake
Yea if I was him I honestly would be out this summer, enough is enough. And in a crazy way mabye it would do us some good not having him as the focal point and not having a back/up etc, if we don’t have any money to spend but selling Kane for £150m meant 5 new players then fuck it we might need to bite the bullet if that’s the only way. And I want him to go and succeed anyway, with ENIC in charge we ain’t winning shit.

I'd agree with you about selling Kane if I thought any good would come of it. But it would be torturously drawn out, would yield less than we'd hope in the current market, and I wouldn't trust us to use the money properly anyway. We'd buy another Soldado or a clump of untested youngsters.

Yesterday was always going to be a tough game. They hadn’t won for ages, our record away and in Sheffield is awful. It was all set up for a defeat.

We’ll beat Everton at home next though. I’m confident of that.

I think he will in 12 months unfortunately. Will be tough to take. We can’t sell him to another English club though that’s for sure.
The thing is he could probably go and break Shearers record if he went to someone like City or United now. We all know that's in his mind. Honestly could see him scoring Messi and Ronaldo levels of goals at City per season. They're so well equipped to supply him.

I think if we sold him to another English club that would be the straw that broke the camel’s back for me.

If Levy sells to a domestic rival - even if we aren't on their level - he'll have to go into hiding.

I know what you mean. It would be sickening. I can only see him at City to be honest. I don't think he'd want to take his young family abroad.

I'd obviously be bothered but he deserves it. He deserves the opportunity to play for the best manager in the world in Pep being supplied by De Bruyne week in week out.

I've always said it was easier to support us when we were shite because the expectations were so much lower. Reverting to that can be nothing but good for my health and wellbeing. :ROFLMAO:

He want's Shearers record. If he moves it is to Utd.
It does seem to be a sensible match - they are on the rise and need an elite striker and Kane won't want to keep feeding on scraps and staying midtable. :(

But don't worry we get Frazier Campbell in exchange?
