I think if he could have signed the players he wanted over the years rather than being provided with mostly utter crap he would have done well

No reason why we couldn't get:
Mane Levy (wages)
Wijnaldum Levy (wages)
Maguire not sure we really wanted him
Dybala f**king image rights
Possibly Grealish Levy (transfer fee)
& Others

When we could have got them if we had aimed higher. Instead we got players like nkoudou (Mitchell), Jansen (Poch) etc

Let's face it we won't win anything with mourinho anyway without signing some proper players. We don't have the characters to win anything. Might get lucky with a league cup but city and Liverpool are going to be so difficult to beat in any competition. Chelsea and United also getting strong.

Poch did a miracle getting that squad to a champions League final.

I believe Poch genuinely feels there is unfinished business for him here and he'll be back one day, but lets be honest - it ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

We're looking at least 10 years down the line, I reckon.

In the minority but I don’t want him back. move on. I respect the job he did but I think it was pretty poor how he was before the cl final and he had a poor mentally in the really big games that cost us the league and about 3/4 cups.

I love the bloke, but you should never go back.
Why? Real Madrid went back for Zidane and he's got them back to the top of the league. They also gave Capello two stints 10 years apart and he won the league twice. Chelsea went back for Mourinho and he won them the league again. Hell, even Harry Redknapp was more successful during his second term at Portsmouth.

Madrid and Chelsea win stuff regardless of who's in charge because they have tons of cash. Portsmouth is hardly an endorsement.

Also think Keegan and Newcastle, Dalglish and Liverpool, me and my ex... er, nevermind that last one...

Yeah but both Keegan and Dalglish were both long past it when they returned.

The question is; how good is Maurizio? He’s signed his second contract in just a few seasons. Nowhere near a start for the XI and currently no loans to develop. Any insight on him?

Yeah he’ll be back. Probably 5+ years down the road but I think he’ll come back. He loves the club and feels theres unfinished business here.

Poch is a perrenial loser. Jose is a born winner. It is no contest.

When Poch cried in the semi final it tells you everything you need to know.

I have never seen the likes of Pep, Fergie, Klopp or Jose cry in a semi final. It's ok for fans to cry but not a manager. I want our manager to be a stone cold winner who will stab his grandad's eye out for the last potato at Sunday Roast.

Levy made the best decision when he sacked Poch. Grateful for what Poch did but his time had come to move on. Our fans need to do the same as well. COYS.

I saw Pep crying after winning the 2009 FIFA Club World Cup against Estudiantes de La Plata (a small club from Argentina). With your logic he's a big looser because of that (how could a "winner" be in tears just for winning a stupid trophy against a small team from South America?), but there is a context, a moment and circumstances. Poch was crying because Spurs had won probably the most important game of our history at the end of the match. If the final result had been 3-0 for Spurs, he would've been calm.
