Aurier doesn’t learn. He’s had a good game (again) but he’s so frustrating. I’d rather he smash it clear than try intricate passes in dangerous areas.

Must be a contract payment clause that stops Tanguy playing. Only logical reason.

So thoughts on this then? Nothing special but not that bad either and a solid win in a game we lost 1-0 last year. Onwards and upwards. Give Jose 4 players(RB,LB,DM,ST) on frees loans find them down an ally whatever and we could have a good season

Tanguy is done. Only hope now is to make most of our money back, which will be difficult.

Hopefully the rest of the football world hasn't forgotten just how good he is like we apparently have.

Wish we had someone else who could play RB, Aurier gets to 70/80 mins and then the mistakes creep in... it’s wrong to expect him to play back to back 90 mins, especially when he spends most of the game as our wide outlet.

Thank the lord, happy for him but it papers over a pretty turgid performance against a pitiful side

That's harsh. Its been mixed, some good stuff for decent spells and some laboured/sloppy play.

Enough to warrant the win definitely though.

I take it from this that Ndombele is an expensive player we have agreed to sell and don't want to risk him. Just a valuable asset now.

Real shame. He has so much ability and will develop in to one of the top midfield talents and win trophies at a top team.

As good as a player Ndombele is he as per Alli don’t fit into our current setup.

You can't complain sbout Ndombele's fitness and then not give him a run out in a game like this. He's not going to get fitter sitting on the bench.

I really don't understand what's happened to him. Such an odd story. Hardly had a chance.

Its absolute bollocks that Sessegnon, Gedson or N'Dombele don't come on. Instead we look to add more in the middle. Why Winks for Son?
