TEAM FORM ------ Spurs -- LDDLD =------ West Ham --LLWLL

West Ham won 1-0 on our ground last season, but haven't won back to back away league matches against us since November 1966 under Ron Green wood. They have won just one of their last 10 Premier League (PL) games (D2 L7), while away from home they have lost each of their last six. Only Bourne mouth (7) have won fewer PL point so far in 2020 than West Ham (8).

West Ham's Michail Antonio has scored 4 goals in six PL appearances against us, scoring each goal at a different ground (Upton Park, White Hart Lane, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London Stadium). He is one of four players to score at different four grounds against the same opponent in a single PL fixture, along with Steed Malbranque (Fulham v Man City, Christian Eriksen (Everton v Spurs) and Dele Ali (Spurs v Watford).

In all competitions, the away side has won six of the last seven matches between us and West Ham, including each of the last four in a row. The last home win in this fixture was back in 2017, a 1-0 victory for the Hammers.

We are looking to complete a PL double over West Ham for the first time since the 2012-13 season under Vilas-Boas. We have lost our last 2 PL London derbies (both v Chelsea), last losing 3 in a row back in August 2005. We have also lost two PL London derbies (W1), more than we had in our previous 22 (W22 D6 L1). Our win rate against the Hammers in mid week matches (Tuesday to Thursday) is just 17% (W1 D3 L2), compared to 54% on games played between Friday to Monday (W22 D6 L13). Our only midweek victory against the Hammers in the competition came way back in December 1993 (3-1).

We have dropped 5 points from winning positions in our last two home PL games, losing 2-3 against Wolves and drawing 1-1 with Man Utd despite leading. We had only dropped 4 points from winning positions in our previous 23 previous PL home games.

During his entire managerial career, Jose Mourinho has managed more games against David Moyes without losing, than any other Manager (13 W8-D5). Kane has scored 29 goals in just 47 PL London derby matches - only Thierry Henry (43), Frank Lampard (32) and Teddy Sheringham (32) have netted more.

I don't just want to beat this lot, I want to hurt their goal difference. If we beat them at least 4-0 they go into the bottom three so please Spurs, let's be part of the reason they finally go down!

Don’t miss us sitting in and being compact in the big matches. Games like this if we sit deep and don’t dominate the ball is when il start to become pissed off. If Ndombele doesn’t start after all the praise he’s received from Jose then what’s the point

Overall, this has not been a great season. Yet put a team in Claret and Blue in front of us and it does appear as if we're transformed.

Four wins. One draw. Fifteen goals scored at an average of three per game. Six conceded.

If every team played in Claret and Blue, we'd be challenging for the title.

Admittedly, this is just another way of saying Villa, West Ham and Burnley are a bit shit, but, given the season to date, I'm taking good omens where I can find them.

3-1 Spurs.

Virtually a fully fit squad. We should tonk them there’s really no excuse not to. I think this is a kind of pivotal game in my opinion of Mourinho. We’ve even had 24 hours extra rest he doesn’t have a single excuse for this one.

West Ham gonna sit back and play for a point, we need to take it to them - gonna be interesting to see how we approach this.

No excuses here, we're a vastly superior side even though we haven't shown it consistently this season.

We should see a lot more on the front foot, or heaven forbid we don't win Jose will get it in the neck.

Think we'll do em 2-0 in a relatively comfortable way, but nothing spectacular lol

If we're pragmatic here and we don't win he's setting himself up for a lot of stick.

Surely he'll be aware of this.

Two form teams. :X3:

After the utd result it's not looking promising for CL. The pressure is basically off. Hopefully we can have a go at them.

Yes agreed and I just wanna humiliate them regardless of our position

My hatred stems from several uncomfortable visits to the Boleyn especially jumping up and down celebrating in the Bobby Moore stand when Staltier’s winner went in
I was the only one and was saved by Old Bill who weren’t exactly gentle either!

Oh what a night!!!
Can’t believe it was 13 years ago ?

I went to this fixture last year, it was the absolute pits. I remember it was before the Ajax game and we were clearly distracted. West Ham actually played well (surprise surprise) and we bought on Janssen towards the end, it was so shit lol

If we cant beat this lot we might as well not fucking bother. 24 hours extra rest, better players, no away fans enjoying their cup final.

Trust me he will find some excuse from somewhere if we don't win! Remember Its never Jose's fault if things aren't going well!

In view of the above, it looks to be a nailed-on Wet Spam win. I'll guess at a mind-numbing draw with us parking the bus and boring them to death.

Like he'll give a fuck. He'll just roll out a shit load of excuses and adopt the persecution complex that he's so fond of.
