I doubt the source is very reliable but £18m for Gabriel is surely something that’s achievable even in these circumstances, will also sort out the Vertonghen replacement as he’s left footed and age on his side

The source is not reliable. But Lille coach said today that Gabriel and Osimhen will leave this summer.

Didn't think it would be long until we were linked with Gabriel.

To be honest, i'd take 4 from Lille, Maignan, Soumare, Gabriel and Osimhen.

Buendia should be on our list

Brentford V Fulham this arvo on Sky, which might be worth a watch, Brentford have one or two players I'd happily have Spurs take a look at considering what our situation appears to be (cash wise)

In: ings, Coutinho loan, ndidi, Chilwell, meunier, koulibaly.

out: Rose, aurier, jan, lamela, Foyth
I'd the gravenberch over coutinho. for age. still 18 and the next big thing out of ajax. ndidi would cost 80 mill or more. can't see levy paying that. Chilwell will go to Chelsea. koulibaly will be 60 plus. will levy pay that.

Levy won’t do anything but free transfers, but if we were actually a serious club who wanted to compete...that’s how I would start by fixing our squad

Sarr at Watford looking good again, he looks impressive, shame we have an abundance of wide players.

Doubt anyone else gave a shit, but had this one as well.

Watkins and Benrahma played the whole game, both mentioned by plenty as players who might make the step up - seems more likely Benrahma goes to Chelsea and I don't see many folk on here being happy as Watkins backing up Harry.

C'est la vie.

For what it’s worth, Ngakia looking handy v Wolves. Quick, comfortable on the ball, gets forward, hasn’t been done defend yet.

Striker is main priority for me. With the way Jose plays Kane has to play 90 every game as we have nobody else of his profile in the club. Right back second, Aurier is okay but not really good enough on the ball. Jury is out for me at CB, Davinson and Dier is a nice dynamic and showed a lot of promise yesterday, so will wait till end of season to judge. I’m not as obsessed with a DM as everyone else on here with the options Sissoko, Winks, Skipp give us but we could probably do with one too. I’d also bring Fraser in on a free and let Lamela go. My realistic list: Vedat Muriqi, Fraser, Nkagia, Sangare and if we go for a CB Gabriel

Seems tidy, one nice cross and a nice piece of skill to create a shooting chance. I wouldn’t call him a standout player, but if he’s 19, available on a free and keen to join then that’s another good addition to the squad.
