Tabloid sports 'journalism' is for people who weren't bright enough to make it as pot washers, so it's unsurprising they look like they do.

Football fans of all clubs think there is a media agenda against their club. Because they remember negative stories about their clubs but forget ones about other clubs or don't even bother reading them.

it doesn't help that sport journalism is shit.

That's true but whilst there is no 'hidden agenda' the media portrayal of us is disproportionately negative.

Even when we were 'media darlings' (as we should have been) we still suffered from an engrained negativity in how our coverage was presented. Even at our high points they would swing the narrative towards something that would diminish us or worry the fans.

There's lots of reasons but they broadly centre on our position: Big but not big enough. It manifests in many ways. We're big enough to turn our opposition into plucky underdogs, but not big enough to turn commentators into squealing k-pop fans who'll look favourably on every misplaced pass. We're noticable enough to generate strong opinions from reporters and ex-players of a certain age, but not good enough to have instilled genuine respect. etc. etc.

It means everything is far more likely to tend towards disrespect and negativity as soon as the opportunity is there. It's not like that for other big teams. Arsenal and Man Utd have been terrible and criticised recently, but when there's a glint of hope the media story will be about their inevitable ressurection and they'll get puffed up with outrageously optimistic stories.

What?

Utd get it every week from the media, they get pulled from pillar to post at every opportunity and have been getting criticism since SAF left them, even their own players constantly stick it to the, - I don't know how you've ignored Arsenal as well, during the end of the Wenger years to Emery to now.

You'll only notice us get bashed because you're Spurs and things will inevitably stick in your head.

Any confirmation whether Liverpool are getting given the title by uefa or this season gets scrubbed

Don't see how they can really. It wasn't a mathmatical certainty, and if Liverpool get given the title, then so should every other club leading their league. You're then in a position where those teams would want promotion and other teams would be relegated even though they weren't certain to go down. Whole thing would be a massive clusterfuck IMO.

So what exactly are Liverpool fans saying about us saying about UEFA saying about Liverpool winning the title?

Do you have any idea how hard it is to make that stuff up on a daily basis? Pretty much any Tabloid Journalist could be a fantasy author

For people that think there is an "anti spurs agenda" go and look at how some newcastle fans are reacting to people criticising the new potential owners.

Most Newcastle fans will be grateful to have anyone other than Ashley.. Let them dream of becoming a PL powerhouse, as they've been crying in their beer for the last 10 years.
