Can’t see united winning anything soon. I would still say we have a better squad just don’t see Kane wanting to go there. I think he’ll be at spurs next season I’m sure he’ll want to see what Jose can do.

So much denial in here....i have seen this before with Dennis Levy before..Carrick Berbatov Modric Bale etc

The most recent of the names you listed was sold 7 years ago. The last time we sold a player to Man Utd was 12 years ago.

We may have been a selling club in the past but I doubt one can argue that is the case now. We very recently had a squad with multiple world class players who could've played for Real, Bayern, Barca etc, yet we held on to all (some may even argue that we held on for some too long).

Kane may well kick up a fuss and want to leave leave but given all the speculation over his future manufactured by the media every year, there's good reason to be sceptical.

If ManU rolled up on Levy's place and stuffed 200mil into his quarantine isolation pod then I would be shocked if Levy didn't pump out the "clear for sale" smoke signals and got Kane on the next flight north. Even ManU's near limitless money bag has its bottom and while I am sure they will have some swagger in this upcoming summer market (whenever that may be) they're not going to have that kind of dough on hand.

That said if they even offered half that would Levy take it? I bet he'd strongly consider it.

But also Sunday papers have been a tire fire of bad transfer rumors for years now. Almost 90% or so of our Summer threads get started from them and they basically never pay off. If you had a line on a killer story you're not waiting for the Sunday paper to roll it out because by then someone's beaten you to the punch.

I haven't ventured much into the spurs chat and now I know why... So depressing. We are gonna go backwards big time I think over the next couple of years. It is going to be a struggle on the pitch and financially off the pitch.

You don’t think every other club excepting those with oil money, etc., won’t be in exactly the same position ?

Oh it will certainly be the case. Football will change no doubt... And things will come back down with a bump and the bubble will no doubt burst.

Daily Mail writing absolute bollocks. All guesswork, they haven’t even bothered to add a “source inside the club”. Getting lazy now. Like Levy is going to tell anyone his intentions. Laughable.

Genuinely think he will leave. When Jose was appointed, I think Harry would have wanted to see where the club was heading but it's pretty clear Jose won't be backed as he has been previously so Kane rightfully wants out. The guy deserves trophies and he won't get them with us. I will be gutted when he leaves but Levy and ENIC have put us in this fucked up situation and we are going to pay for it for a very long time. It is going to be a very tough watch for the next 3/4 years at least. A lot keep saying it but until they sell up, this club will win nothing.

We clearly did. Kyle Walker was world class when he left, Hugo was at his peak, so was Eriksen. Kane and Son still are.

All those players could have left us at their peak to play for the biggest clubs in the world. That's world class for me. The fact that some (Hugo and Eriksen) hung around long enough for the rot to set in isn't a reflection on their quality.

I honestly wouldn't pay attention to any transfer articles at the moment. Looking at the Daily Mail and you'd think there was no pandemic and the transfer window is in full flow already.

How have you already come to that conclusion?

We do say what some consider knee jerk reactions but if Kane gets sold to Man Utd when both teams (on the pitch) is equal then im definitley taking a backseat from spurs and football in general.
