In these days without live football, this is a thread for the best retro football clips, matches and funnies from a bygone era where football was actually played and not stuck in an endless limbo.

I'll start off with the most brutal challenge I've ever seen that didn't see the player awarded a red card, soundtracked appropriately.



And for connoisseurs, the entire England v Argentina from Mexico '86 is on Youtube for those who wish to watch 90 minutes of some football history.

USA '94 is the first world cup I remember, a fantastic tournament with a tragically shit final.
