Has that **** not sorted Coronavirus yet? I cant stand this negative action he's taking.

Surely, even with the injuries Nagelsmann would have sorted it by now. #JoseOut

I get that we can’t work on link up play with a #9 because we don’t have one. But there are patterns of midfield play that could be worked on, defensive solidity, more young players being given a chance (Skipp, Sessegnon, Parrot). At the moment there is precious little evidence of anything that might persist into next season from a collective point of view and only Lo Celso and Tanganga shining on an individual basis.

Interesting to see itk making exactly this point. Not that this is itk worthy info because anyone can see this.

Levys biggest mistake over the past year has been sacking Poch to hire Mourinho. Very expensive mistake it will turn into.

Still, I’m sure he’ll deliver an fa cup playing shit football to keep that chap from Manchester and @scat1620 happy? Surely? At least a derby win... maybe ?

If only this was foreseeable...

Has it though? Do you think training will continue as normal or will it be split in to small groups with the majority of fitness work be done at home.

There is nothing to stop the team training at our training ground. The club will ensure players self-quarantine if they show signs of illness. I would be amazed if the players temperatures and general health is not being checked on a daily basis now anyway.

Whilst I think hiring Mourinho was not the best move, it was better than keeping Poch (who clearly gave up after the CL final) which would have ended up with us in a relegation battle. Yes - we were that bad.

The point I keep making is that even if Poch had reached the end of the line, that did not make Mou the right appointment. The right appointment had to be worth the severance fee for poch and their own wages. That’s a high bar that I never thought was worth it for past-it Mourinho.

Perhaps there were better alternatives or perhaps it was worth persevering with poch until the right person was available. Plenty of cheaper options (almost everyone else in world football) who could play boring football and see poor results after the inevitable new manager bounce. The upside of Sherwood was exactly that - cheap and bought us time toget in one of our best ever managers.

Im BSODL but damn Levy fucked up over this.

It was more a case of get an experienced manager in before it was too late as we were in a death spiral and heading for relegation. Poch had to go. Simple as. Getting Mourinho was better than keeping Poch. Getting Naglesmann would probably have been much better, but doubt he could do anything with the injuries we have at the moment.

With hindsight, I am sure all of us would rather Levy Net spent £100M on players 18 months ago, and another £100M last summer and kept Poch motivated and us in the top 4 challenging. But he didn't. We don't even know if Levy will back Mourinho this summer or move onto another manager now he has seen Mourinho's limitations (went from saying we had a great squad and doesn't need any more players to saying he needs up to 8 new players whilst playing turgid football and getting outplayed by Norwich and Southampton at home!). Either way he needs to buy 5 or 6 new players at least and totally rebuild the squad. Whoever is in charge.

Part of me wants Levy to phone Poch and say "Sorry - you were right, I was too distracted by the stadium. We do need a major rebuild and I want you to come back and oversee it." And Poch accepts his apology and comes back energised and we play like its 2016 all over again. Only this time Levy invests more each season as we have more income. And we win the league and the CL. Multiple times. And everyone lives happily ever after. ..... If only eh?

I don't want Levy and Pochettino to work together ever again. Between the two of them, IMO and for reasons I shan't try to decipher, they could not handle the transfer market very well. What each of them brought to the table in strengths and weaknesses resulted in very poor transfer dealings. I see few really, really good signings over the past years. That's why for sure I'd like Mourinho to at least have a proper summer transfer window before we judge harshly. I'm hoping that different stake holders will result in an overall much improved approach to signings.

Trouble is, if we bankroll Mourinho for what he'd consider a proper transfer window, we'll be skint for years and God only knows what players he'd bring in. Remember he whinged about the paltry 300m Man Utd gave him.

I feel that Berwijn was a textbook case of signings I like. And I don’t know who’s idea that was or why it happened, but at least I’d like to see one transfer window under Mourinho at Spurs. I don’t think that’s unreasonable.

God its going to be a long few months on here isn't it. We're only one postponed game in, by the time we reach the summer with no football SC will just be a gif of a monkey hitting two rocks together.
