It makes sense for Levy to sell him now we're missing out on the CL. Hopefully we can somehow stay around the top 6 until DL goes.

I’ve stated previously in this thread that for me huge question marks hang over Kane and his body’s ability to get back to where he was. Having had so many ankle injuries really effects movement and jumping ability and if the reports are correct that his hamstring had to be reattached then there are countless examples of players never regaining the confidence in their own body to break in to a full sprint for fear of the hamstring twanging again.

he’s missed so much football over the last 3 years that maybe just maybe it’s time to take the £200m and sign a few top quality replacements that will replace his goals, easier said than done I grant you but we can’t continue like this. As a fan every time he gets a kick you hold your breath waiting to see if he gets back up again.

that said I dont thibk for one second that any club would pay the £150m - £200m required to get him, nor can I see Jose willing to sign it off without kicking up an almighty stink.

Has last night game relegated us from the league to play in the championship? Good grief.

Kane wants out, we are all divisive, voices of ENIC out, calling Mourinho to be sacked, major rebuild etc. My lord..

Some postponements of games to get Kane and Son back while we clawed some points back to catch the 6th place then 5th things may just turn rosy again. The season is not ending yet..

I reckon someone is on the wind up if I am honest. It's negativity in every thread and a bunch of the same posters all posting the same rhetoric.

Shame.

How many years does Kane have left on his contract? It would take some almighty offer to convince Levy to sell him... honestly I'm not sure how many clubs could afford him, or have some serious talent they would give us as part-ex. I doubt PSG would want to give us Mbappe for example.

Anyone who thinks Man U won’t break the bank for Kane is deluding themselves. The only way he stays is if Levy miraculously decides he doesn’t want to sell him.

They aren't nailed on for top 4 yet although we'll no doubt gift them 3 points at the weekend.

City, PSG, Real, Barca, Bayern maybe Juve? - after that United and a whole host of teams who don't have the cash ...

What if Poch gets a shot at the PSG job after they sell M'bappe in the summer?

TBF we’ve done so well since Kane has been injured that I wonder if he’d even get back into the team when fit? Maybe it is time to take the money and run, might as well throw Son into the deal as well while we are at it.

Now DL’s plan when hiring JM is clearer. He wanted chaos on the playing side so Kane and others who are at the right age to cash in in will leave. Will get several hundred million to invest in his NFL project; build the skywalk; add more executive toilets and a nice statue in the stadium. Great plan ... who needs successful football to make money

Mbappe would never come to us in our current state. If Kane were adamant that he needs to leave, I'm sure Levy would first look to Real Madrid who are in the market for a striker and you'd think would be hugely interested. I could see a deal involving Jovic and a fee in excess of 200m.

Ultimately if Harry does go I will wish him well. He stuck with us for a long time when he could have gone to any club in the world, and has always maintained that he'd stay as long as we were progressing. Well we've gone massively backwards and I couldn't blame him for putting his career first.

We may have initially misused the Bale money, but the assets we acquired ultimately resulted in the foundation of the success we managed under Poch. Only Lamela and Eriksen stuck around, but we flipped the rest for the likes of Dele, Dier, Son, Toby, Wanyama, etc. We've sold our best players and used the funds to improve the squad overall on a number of occasions under ENIC, and if we managed to use the money wisely I think the same could be true with Kane, as hard as it is to think of him leaving.

Getting Jovic as a part of the deal and bringing in Osimhen as ITK suggests Mourinho wants would leave us sorted at the No. 9 position, and we could use the rest of the money to shore up the back line and get a top-quality DM. I don't trust the current transfer setup to get it right, but if we can manage to bring in a DOF like Campos or someone of equal quality it's at least within the realm of possibility that the sale could take the overall squad up a level, just as was true with the sales of Carrick, Berbatov, Modric, and Bale (in the end). There's every chance we'd get it wrong but we've managed to progress using that model in the past.

Levy has broken Poch' spirit and now he's done the same to Kane. They believed, but have now woken up to the realisation that everything Levy has told them has esentially been a pack of lies.

Get a grip man. He's not a bloody Bond villain.
