LOL! That's not what I meant - I just don't understand the levels of negativity (and that's not directed at you specifically) - I just don't understand why people are so dour, so negative.

The reason I cited you specifically is that we were in the middle of a conversation. Which is good. As you say, it's what we're here for. But I twice thought I'd responded to what you were saying and you said I hadn't, so I was left thinking if it was just that you wanted to have a good old moan, which we all like to do from time to time, just not quite so much as we're seeing.

I do genuinely wish to know what your observations are - just having a tough time putting my finger on it.
Genuinely the main reason I've decided not to renew my ST. Games were more fun when we were shit.

I think every top striker holds the ball well. Aguero, for me, is one of the best at getting the ball & bringing others into the game. A real striker understands how to play with their back to goal and to make the right runs. Bergwijn and Dele aren't strikers so there is no complaining from me that they struggle to do it, however it is undeniable that we are struggling due to this factor.

Also, on top of losing our player who holds up play, drags defenders out of position etc, we have lost our most potent attacking threat in Son. As we have seen before without Kane, Son has stepped up & can create & score goals from nothing, so it ends up being that opposition sides double mark him, which in turn opens up space for other players. Then if you take away Eriksen (yes he struggled the last year but he still had a great eye for a pass), then you start to see why we as an attacking force are struggling. Is Mourinho to blame for 2 injuries, a player wanting to leave, and no back up striker. Of course not. If we also take ITK then it appears that one of the main positions we are looking at is to recruit another forward player who has the ability to play both striker & attacking forward.

Mourinho deserves time, and as someone else stated, 4 months into the Poch era he lost 4 out of 5 games and he was given time and rightfully so. I just don't want to read in every single thread that Mourinho isn't the right man etc etc as it's getting boring & everyone is missing vitally important points.
They’re not missing them Danny, they’re ignoring them.

I've said it 3 or four times. Our beloved spurs were boo'd off the pitch in Nov of 2014 after 4 home losses out of 5, 4 months in to Pochs reign.

No one is saying we will improve or reach the Poch level of footie. But maybe, just maybe 4 months is too soon for everyone to be crying into their cereal.

I said this the other week. Plus this time last year we lost 4 out of 5 games, drawing the other one.

It’s just people hate mourinho. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such vitriol for one person before. The only other person who comes close is Judas. That was deserved. I’ve no idea what Mourinho has done to people to hate him on that level.

He managed Chelsea, that seems to be enough for some.

Mixture of sacking a very likable manager and person to hiring a very notorious and polarising manager, some very bitter people with raw feelings out there at the moment.

I don’t care he managed Chelsea. I care that he always played poor football. I care that I watched him just be an arse when the press asked him about performances after Poch beat him when he was Utd manager and he said three titles for me two for everyone else. I care that he burst in a Sky Sports Studio and thought it was his right to know the Chelsea lineup from Ashley Cole.

He was a failure at Man United. He was going to get Chelsea relegated because of the way he treated his players.

He has left every team worse off after short term stays. He is a short term solution to anything who only cares about Mourinho.

In Mourinho’s first stint at Chelsea I thought he protected his players by his media presence. I never saw him throw any of his players under the bus and said he was responsible for performances. Then Real Madrid happened and it seem to damage him. He took most the criticism for the team’s failures. Then after that he has been more than willing to throw players to the wolves.

If we got Mourinho after his first stint at Chelsea before he went to Real Madrid, I would have been happy. We got Mourinho when no top club wanted him because their was just to much baggage with him.

Yeah the potential excitement of bumping posts in a couple of years is giving me a hard on.

If failure at Man Utd is deemed as winning a Cup and the Europa League, can we be a failure too please sir?
