One team will dominate possession and with that will come control. They may or may not win but they will deserve to.

The other team will appear to lack any kind of cohesive plan. After the game that team's manager will praise his team's effort and say that they (and, by implication, he) have done very well considering that they have no strikers and they are all dog tired.

Rinse and repeat.

It may be two teams tomorrow trying to see how little possession they can control ;) .

Not only will Wolves be playing away, but their whole style is based on containment and counter-attack. Midfield could be a lonely place.

Dunno , something about Wolves terrifies me .

Reckon it started in late '18 , I remember us getting a sound beating at Wembley ,a cruel efficiency about our demolition...then the match this season , yes we won , but by a hair . Traore was total brick house menace every time he advanced with the ball leaving poor Jan floundering in his wake . Getting towards the cliched 'unstoppable' status imo....stick Tanganga on him mebbe this time .

Just hoping they're a bit knackered and we can sneak a goal ...or I'll be behind the sofa .

You mis-remember the match. My recollection is that we led 1-0, deservedly, through much of it, then collapsed in the last 15-20 minutes and conceded 3 goals.

Don't feel confident but we've got to hope that Jose can galvanise them.

We've still got enough quality to do it, but they've got to start improving.

Cliché, but massive game tomorrow off the back of that pitiful performance at Chelsea.

I'm going for 2-1 Spurs. Dele to step up with a brace.
The thing though Mr P, I do think the team is galvanised and do want to play, but... its Jose himself that has set them up tactically to perform the way we have been.

No was at that match. We shaded the first half but the 2nd half they were all over us. It was the start of the end of the great side we had before that to what we have now imo

And people say Spurs fans are fickle!

And some say some fans are self-righteous. He paid his ticket, he was committed to going. Its his choice of he wants to watch it and he is clearly not happy with the anti-football on display.

If people can say what they want here, why can't they say what they want with the hard earned money they spent on a ticket???

I totally agree. Sometimes it feels the team is ready to revolt on the pitch but then they remember the manager can drop them and revert back to not playing football

Looking at the poll so far, confidence in the team is slowly disappearing.

How much has changed in the last 12 months

I just can’t see anything other than a Wolves win, we have no cohesive attack and it would appear no one to put the ball in the net.
Best hope is some sort of wonder strike by Bergwijn or maybe Lucas will have his one game in five... unfortunately Raul Jimenez, Jota, Traore, Neves... i’d fancy them all to be able to score a goal before we come close.

Can’t wait for this season to end.

You can bet on a Wolves win and a draw and still make money and if we win you've bought yourself a result. Win win.
Seriously though I cant see anything other than a loss.
Glad its not on tv.

I was tempted by Jimenez to score, 5+ corners each half and Aurier to be carded...28/1.

If a season ticket holder and supporter decides they cant be arsed to go to watch one of the biggest games of the season so far where the team he supports is playing a top side in a battle for qualification for a competition reserved for only the elite teams in Europe because he currently is in a huff with the quality of football in display then i am perfectly entitled to call him fickle. I can do that because that is the literal definition of fickle.

I say supporter, i mean customer. I hope he kept the receipt.

I read this that you were tempted that Jiminez would score from 5 or more corners in each half! I mean I think we might lose but this is going a little too far surely ;)

Why is said support fickle?
I know quite a few season tickets holders who’ve given up their tickets recently as they’re fed up with the football on show, that doesn’t mean they’re fickle at all, they’re just making a stand.

These supporters could’ve been say ST holders for 30+ years and supported us through thick and thin but the prices are now astronomical and I’d argue the last few matches were some of the most boring, negative and adventureless football we’ve played in years, yes some of that is down to no son and Kane but a lot of it is down to Jose deciding that in many games even home ones when the onus is on us to take the game to the opposition that it’s fine to from minute one drop deep and surrender all possession. It’s unbelievably negative and lifeless to watch so I can completely understand some fans frustration with it but that doesn’t make them fickle.

The definition of fickle is;
“changing frequently, especially as regards one's loyalties or affections”. Now if a season ticket holder over the last 5-10 years has decided to change their mind on who they support say 2-3x then that is truest a fickle fan but I’m not having some of our fans be called fickle who’ve supported this club through thick and thin but who are currently just a little disappointed with how we approach games.

I say you need a dictionary. You use the word fickle. He didn't change the team he supported. He chose not to attend.

There are teams in the relegation zone playing better football and charging way less to their supporters.

Supporters aren't fickle for not being happy. Shows they care. The fan boy customer is the one that accepts everything the company supplies without question, and then calls out others cos they aren't fan boy customers.
