A positive thing is that we only have 14 points left to 40. (y)
yeah, get that sorted and we can relax to 9th and going out in the 4th round of the cup if we can scrape a 0-1 away to Middlesbrough in the 3rd ... This season is really good.

Updated. Projection still at 50 pts.

With last season's points (current round) we would have been 2nd, one point ahead of City.

I wonder if somewhere out there has done this for the whole league. Would be interesting to see that.

I don't think so, no.
I've tried to do a new count, and you're right. I missed the Man Utd result the first time.

Some shocking points lost in there, most notably Brighton and Norwich away, Newcastle, Sheffield U, Watford and arguably Chelsea at home.

Agreed. It's been an awful run. As was said earlier, will hopefully makes this thread more fun next season!

last season I did the other top 5 ie... Man C, Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea whichI think did make me need a break from it and thanks to @Hakkz he kindly took over(y)

Yeah I've contemplated doing it for other teams too (maybe Arsenal and/or Utd because of their equally inconsistent seasons). It's doable... :)

Despite two unfortunate results, they improved the numbers compared to last season.

One more point than in the same fixture last season.

How did we do in the remaining fixtures last year:

West Ham - L
Sheff Utd - n/a
Everton - D
Bournemouth - L
Arsenal - D
Newcastle - W
Leicester - W
Palace - W

11 points out of 7 games (not including Sheff Utd)

I think we can better that. 17 points I reckon, including a draw away at Sheff Utd.
