Do people really think this is going to get parrot minutes?

I'm actually a big fan of mourinho but his just going to make him dig his heels in further with this.

Firstly he genuinely believes he's 'not ready'.

Secondly hes going to use it as a tool to coax a player out of levy in the summer. It's what he does.

Summary: fan of mourinho, dont like this situation. Think parrot should have been on the bench every game kane has been injured. If you need a goal with 10 mins to go, you should have a natural goal scorer around. Simple as that.

Can't believe he is going to be out for the season as some are saying - probably turn up with some kind of cast on at some point.
In the short term Son is more likely to be backfilled by Sessegnon as it looks like we are favouring width and mobility up top these days. Thank god we bought Bergwijn!

I think we may dip into the free agent pot ... seen that Sakho (old West Ham) is a free agent since 31/12/19 and hammers fans keen to get him back - he’s still only 30 and could do a job??

I’d even take bendtner at this point

Well.....Maybe not

Usually takes 6 weeks in a cast post operatively for bones to heal. If wired then he may need to have those removed thereafter.

Should be back imo mid April

Not sure I buy this to be honest. Jose's a winner. He'll want to win trophies, finish top four. If he genuinely thinks Parrot's not ready, then that's it. He watches him in training, knows him better than any of us keyboard warriors. He knows what makes a player ready or not.

From what little I've read it might be in his elbow which may make it more difficult.

Jose just needs to show the team the comments on son on red cafe that should fire them up for the run in

Yeah maybe, but it’s reassuring that he had some movement in it through the game.

He will be in a cast above his elbow so won’t be able to play like lineker in ‘86

Can we grab a free agent?? Not sure who is available, but surely we could scrape up some journey man

This shows we can't compete with the elite without spending a bit of money. Everyone was crying out for a striker during the January transfer window. We know how difficult it is to get one then, but now, can we realistically win a trophy and reach the top 4? I'm still optimistic but to use a cliche, we have a mountain to climb.

Hardly think I went keyboard warrior and I'm not really sure what there was to not buy in the post.

Absolutely this.
He's shown by playing Tanganga that if a young player is ready he'll play them, but only if.
Yet I keep reading this nonsense about 'If he doesn't play Parrott then GRRRRR'....people really need to pay more attention.

I disagree obviously. I'm not really rabid to have youth team players make the grade and certainly dont have any other agenda.

But I personally think you have to look at this as being relative to the options you have available. Which is literally nothing.

I think we are weakened as a squad to not have the personnel to change our shape at times. You also will never convince me that a natural out an out goalscorer is less dangerous than Lucas moura with five minutes to go and the ball constantly in the opposition box.
