But this isn't the Chelsea of old who went so long unbeaten at the Bridge. They struggle when they get frustrated now. We must not concede early. Either keep them out or score ourselves. Get the crowd angsty and see how they react. Traditionally tricky? Yes. But, times have changed and so have the two sides. We're picking up wins when not playing well, while they're dropping points. No doubt they'll be up for it, however it certainly is more winnable for us than it has been previously.
We'd won 4/5 before facing them at home and they smashed us. Our away form is horrendous and now without Son & Kane, I have zero confidence in picking up any points from that match.

It was going to be a tough trip with Son. Chelsea will be bang up for it. Be absolutely delighted with a point

Devastating news for the team and for Sonny that he maybe out for the rest of the season.

If, and it is a very big if, we still manage to qualify for the Champions League next year it will surely would be up there with Mourinho’s biggest achievements! COYS

It would be a big achievement but, and this is a good thing, nowhere near his biggest achievements.

If he wins the champions league this season then that will match his Porto win. I don’t think there’s a manager in the game right now who could achieve what he did with Porto

It’s a blow but I am still optimisitc we’ll get top four, possibly top 3. Leicester have injuries of their own and really aren’t that strong, Chelsea are a mess, Man Utd are a mess - last night’s result doesn’t change that - and I don’t fear any of Everton, Sheffield Utd, Arsenal or Burnley

Forget me if my memory is weak, but didn`t we play last years second leg of the semifinals of CL without both Kane and Son? Wasn`t Son suspended? And we still won against a strong Ajax team.

Son missed the first leg v Ajax. Played the second.

Son's injury is a massive blow but we still have the quality to punish most teams we have left. Dele had enough chances to bury Villa and was rather uncharacteristically profligate in front of goal on Sunday. Lucas and now Bergwjin should also contribute - Gio and Lamela also have an eye for a goal or two. That being said I do believe much of our success will be contingent on whether Ndombele can finally put a fun of games together - his incisiveness can cut through opposition defenses and create plenty of goalscoring chances.

What is also clear is that defensively we must ensure we give ourselves every chance of nicking a number of close games. It may not be pretty to watch but I have confidence that under Jose we can grind out key results.

Of course, this injury also plays nicely into Jose's siege mentality and hopefully, it will galvanise the squad at this crucial time.

He’s not going to be out for the rest of the season, that’s just Mourinho spin

Its a massive blow that we now also lost Son for months.
But, im optimistic that we can get top 4. Got a feeling the the other lads will step up.

(when is Kane back btw?)

I'm really sorry to be the one to break this news to you, but the Shelf hasn't existed since May 2017. You just sit on the side of the ground in the upper level.

Is there not a bar in the East stand named after the Shelf side?
