Jeez, I really want to give Jose the benefit of the doubt but I can't understand how he doesn't see that Dier is an absolute waste of space. Slow, clumsy, lumbering, can't pass, offers nothing. Surely Skipp can't be any worse at this point?

Edit: and as soon as I've posted it, he makes an important clearance....?

Dier & Winks - never going to work.... its how sky/PL have screwed us with our next 3 games, you cant blame Jose for trying but Dier is simply not good enough

Easy to say in hindsight but I don’t think Toby should have started the match 48 hours after his wife gave birth. Doesn’t seem to have the requisite focus and who can blame him.

I've seen 2 decent forward balls this match and he has played both of them. Issue is him and Winks need more help in there.

It’s all a bit Groundhog Day. This front four offer fuck all respite when they receive the ball. They all can do a bit of whizz bang, but sometimes just need them to retain the ball and control the fucking play.
