Dragon has been fairly pessimistic throughout the window, so I'm not gonna get too upset just yet.

SpursMagic said he is dragon's cousin and he told him we are looking at Balotelli?
Uncle I think you’ll find....

we always want more but to be honest I would have been happy with this before the window opened. Getting Lo Celso done is the best news, and we've got two more young faces to give the squad some (much needed) freshness. I’d like a RB and a DM but would rather get good ones in the summer than mediocrity now. If José can show a bit of tactical flexibility we can make our attack work with Son up top, or even Lamela isn’t a bad false 9

It could be either Balotelli, Arnautovic or Demba Ba, what strikes me is none of above seems like a player we would be after to sign - as dragon gives us ~10% on signing, not lot loaning a player.

This. If the plan is to ultimately have Parrott as Kane’s understudy, and Son finds his shooting boots, I see absolutely no need for a stop gap striker signing. One would be nice though, but it isn’t critical to me.

I have to say I’m impressed with the deals we’ve done this window, and genuinely couldn’t give a shhhh if we make another signing. We’ve done some great deals for young, exciting players and I can’t wait to see them all in action.

Levy deserves applause for getting things done in JANUARY, a window notorious for mediocre signings. He’s outdone himself with the in’s and out’s in my books.

Will do a solid donation over the weekend when I have the chance, pretty sure @Archibald&Crooks mentioned seeing a new toy in the buttplug monthly that he’d like to take for a spin, we need to fund it.

Cheers to all the ITK God’s, @JJetset, @Hercules, @Trix, @dovahkiin and any others I might have missed, you guys are the best and the window wouldn’t be half as interesting without you.

We might get a striker in, so my response is based on what we have now. We haven't addressed any of our actual problem areas and taken a punt on 2 young players coming from vastly inferior leagues.

Balotelli won't happen. Mourinho famously called him "unmanageable" so it's extremely unlikely in my humble opinion.

We also managed to offload Eriksen and Rose, Signed Lo Celso permanently and lined up a deal for Eze in the summer. (TBC) KWP and Clarke have gone out on much needed loans, hopefully the latter can get more game time now. We have players returning from injury which will be a huge boost and the emergence of Tanganga is like a new CB signing in itself.

All in all we do not have a pressing need to get an inferior ST, DM or RB when our main targets will be much more attainable in the summer.

I’d rather we don’t sign anyone at all than to add to the deadwood we’ve just started to move out. We need to cut that from our transfer plans and focus solely on getting JM’s targets in the summer.

Whilst you may be right, how many quality DM's, FB's and forwards have moved this window?? Its an old cliche, but January is not the best time to make long term changes to the squad. There are a number of big clubs looking for forward options at the moment, and most, if not all are failing.
What we have achieved is getting rid of some of the problem players and bringing in a couple of exiting young players who hopefully will freshen the squad up a bit, which points to at least a willingness to back JM and bodes well for the summer (fingers crossed).

Yes, we've off loaded 2 players that didn't want to be here and taken up an option in a contract that was already in place ???

It's the Euros in the summer, I wonder when we'll hear the standard lines:

1. It's difficult to do deals
2. players are away with their international team
3. Clubs want to wait until after hoping to increase value
4. we had to wait until the big clubs finished their business.

I don't disagree with that, but I'm not going to slap Levy on the back and congratulate him on a job "well done"
