Great, Weghorst now.

Judging by this thread this evening, everyone can watch him for 30 seconds in his next match for Wolfsburg

And then wrote him off too, because he hasn't scored.

There was a thing on Twitter that said we had a four striker wish list. He was one of them and Werner was the other playing in Germany. Wasn't the ITK about that?

I appreciate this is the PIATEK THREAD but, you know, WEGHORST. WOUT!!

Well, he's had one good season in a top league. Before that he was in Poland. Unless you consider the Extraklasa a top league.
As someone who follows the Polish National team and has seen a lot of him playing before this season, he's still a very good player despite what the people in this thread have passed as judgment after a youtube video and 60 minutes today.

No one knows if Piatek is good enough long term but what we all know with cast iron certainty is, you can’t judge a player on one game.

I was watching some Bergwijn individual match highlights last night, in some games he looks every inch George Kevin Nkoudou, in some others he looks an awful lot better than that. Have we seen games where Kane looks a poor player, yes the same for Son or anyone you can think of. We have also seen games where they look world class.

Piatek probably couldn’t give a toss about playing for Milan tonight. His mind was likely on anything but that.

AC Milan plays in a very strange way. They almost never feed the strikers with any balls, even when having the chance of playing straight trough. They play on the outside and then 9 out of 10 times Castillejo hits the first defender with a cross.

Signing Wout Weghorst would be the quantum of Pleatisms; the possibilities and combinations of mis pronounced names would defy all logic known to man. This would be the immense dimensions the bearded fool AVB prophesied many moons ago. It may also bring about the end of days...otherwise known as the vag of Karen Brady.

With these perils in mind...

Do we dare to sign Wet Wankfest?

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He's supposedly a pure finisher with little else, players like that have quiet games a lot, even when they're scoring they might do little else in a match. It's the nature of the beast. This fact is compounded when you play in a bad, or disjointed team.

How good IS Eriksen? And how good has he looked of late when he's desperate for a move and doesn't want to get injured to ruin those chances. Misplacing passes etc is par for the course when your mind is already at a different club.

Just saying......

He was very afraid of sticking his foot in situations. Making him late and off the pace.
