TMZ also broke the news before the LA County Sheriff could notify the families. They are arseholes for doing that.

The police said nine people died, all those that rushed to break the news got something wrong.

So sad! Saw Kobe play a few times for the Lakers at the Staples including the 2000 Western Conference Finals game 7 against Portland. He and Shaq were on fire that night! He was one of the all-time greats.

Response at games last night, comments from players, Doc Rivers, Kareem, Jerry West etc.

Lakers v Clippers on Tuesday evening Pacific time. That will be an emotional game and a celebration of Kobe as well.

Could be pilot error. It seems he was going to fast laterally ,184mph impact speed, at 1400 feet then he probably got a proximity sensor warning and quickly yanked back to climb fast but it was to late.

I have timestamped the video of where he pull up quickly, you can see the radar go up.

I remember that match so well, was studying for my a-levels and it looked like Pippen has helped nullify Jackson’s tactics

How far down were they in the 4th quarter? Must’ve been around 12 down with not long to go. Obviously it’s a long time so might be wrong but I’m sure Kobe set up Shaq for a big dunk to get them in the lead and the place (and me on the other side of the tv) went mental.

The emotion in that game was something I’d not experienced watch basketball before. They’d dominated that season and it looked like it was all going wrong. Great game.

It really was a great night. I can't remember the exact points deficit the Lakers had to overcome in the 4th. In fact, the Lakers hadn't been playing well for much of the game. It all turned in the 4th, and the place was going nuts!

The Last Dance documentary has been moved up to April 19th, available on Netflix outside of the US.

I always thought it was odd that they debuted the trailer over a year before its release.

yeah its entertaining but its the Last Dance According to Mike
The only thing there could be 2 sides on is the Isiah Thomas thing and FUCK Isiah Thomas.

By the way, if Lebron was the subject of the Jordan rules, he’d be put in an institution. You gotta be mentally tough to keep getting up from those physical beatings. Lebron’s a mental midget. The dude falls over and cries foul constantly for 10 minutes straight if someone comes within 2 feet of him. Really brings it home with how much the game has changed.

The Last Dance is incredible. That was the NBA’s glory years

Completely agree, i loved the Bulls back then. Jordan's drive to win is incredible, his mental toughness on top of ridiculous ability is something to behold, i wish our coaching staff would sit the players down just to watch the first couple of episodes, to show them ability only gets you so far.... I know Ndombele gets a lot of heat, but he is the perfect example of someone so gifted but with 1% drive, if he was like Jordan he could take on the world.

Really enjoyable insight into the Bulls and their magic reign. What a team and a great coach to bring the best out of the players.
