I love him. What a player.

The only thing I don’t like is the way he stays down pretending to hurt after every time he’s hit

nah, we could do with a bit more shithousery.

In the last few games we’ve had a few players bounce up too quick after awful tackles, where if we’d been cuter, they’d have rightly been sent off.

His quality was never in doubt, knew he would be a massive player for us if we got him, but have to admit I became very concerned by his lack of starts and some of the apparent Mourinho comments that were swirling around the ITK forum for a while there. I like what Mourinho is saying now but there’s still a small part of it that I find scary where I think we might have just got ‘lucky’ with some injuries at the right time and Inter coming in for Eriksen.

Either way, it seems like we have most likely arrived at the correct destination so I guess who fuck cares how we got there.

Definitely agree with this. Were it not for injuries and Eriksen's lackluster performances, he would've had a tough time getting games.

Such a beautiful footballer. One of those players with no weaknesses. Sees the game exquisitely, and has the technical brilliance to execute. Reminds of Bergkamp in a lot of ways. Loved the run but my favorite moment today was the Moura chance. Got the ball and within a split second released Ali in a ton of space.
This man will be/is the brains of the team, and as much as i love and appreciate Christian (good luck in Milan btw) this guy just seems to make decisions quicker, which ,if they come off, give the attacking player far more freedom.
Add to all that his defensive contribution.
Definitely my favorite player.

He's been here all of 5 minutes, but he's already starting to show why so many were clamouring regarding getting him signed last summer.

Quality was always there, I actually wanted him more than Bruno Fernandes last summer. Reckon he's played in a tougher league.

I'm thinking Ndombele is the same, just need to get him settled, and raring to go once more and I reckon he'll be another who'll smash a bit of patience lacking bullshit down a few throats.

Happy to have both, as is Mourinho one would think.

Will be an interesting conundrum for Jose when Tanguy like Gio proves his quality, as both our summer signings are probably #8s and a pivot of Lo Celso-Ndombele is probably too offensive. Therefore the only way to put them both in the team is to either force Gio out wide (where he's less effective) or play a 4-3-3 with both central. However, if we did the latter then Dele would either have to be dropped or moved to false 9/out wide. Will be interesting to see what Jose does as I think Ndombele and Lo Celso are both incredible acquisitions and are probably both too good to be benched.
IMO the answer to this dilemma is to play Alli nominally off the right, but let him drift inside with Aurier providing the width on that side when in possession. So a hybrid 4-3-3/3-3-3-1 set up like this:

Out of possession:
------------------Lloris--------------------
Aurier-----Sanchez------Toby----Davies
------------------DM--------------------
-----Lo Celso----------Ndombele-------
Dele-------------CF---------------Son

In possession:
-----------------Lloris-----------------
---Sanchez-----Toby------Davies---
------------------DM-------------------
------Lo Celso---------Ndombele----
Aurier----------Dele-----------Son---
------------------CF-------------------

I think in the short term Ndombele will play as the 6 with GLC next to him and Alli ahead of them.
Ndombeles fitness issues will prevent him from playing the box to box role

I honestly think that this lad is going to become one of the best players in the league, and one of my favourite Spurs players ever.
He's got everything.

Poch must be pretty pissed off though.
Waited ages for his players, gets them only to lose the faith of the rest of them, and then his job.

Looks an absolute bargain.

Ndombele is special and I think he immediately showed that, albeit with his fitness and injury issues, I wasn't convinced by Lo Celso until the last few weeks, but he is now showing himself to be a tremendous talent as well. Get them both fit and bedded in and we have a pretty formidable midfield there. Perhaps Poch knew what he was talking about in the transfer market, such a shame Levy didn't back him sooner

It was interesting today because he seemed to be picking up the ball all over the midfield. Sometimes the front two consisted of him and Lucas with Gedson half marking the left side of the pitch.

He will be as good as David Silva in his prime. We need to keep him and make him a key player
Said this just 10 days ago, and I'm more sure of it as games go by.
We'll see him play even better when we get a proper DM and start bossing the midfield in games

I felt after Poch's departure we needd the A-team.
Jose is GP. Gio is Face. Ndombele is BA and we still looking for that bit of madness!

Upon further reflection I think that is a fucking great analogy!
