Where this is probably relevant is that he would surely be in the "surrendering loyalty bonus" category if he threw in a request.

I'm guess that it might be one of those scenarios where it costs us extra if we sell him rather than his contract expiring, unless he does something like that.
Maybe, but I think sometimes there are 'loyalty' payments due if a contract runs its full length.

Got to go before it gets really ugly. There were definitely a few boos when he came on yesterday, followed by consternation every time he misplaced a pass / bottled a challenge etc. Best for all parties that we don’t see him again in our shirt

That one "pass" he made apparently meant for Sessegnon was embarrassing. And then berating a young player who already looked like he had shit the bed, just all round poor.

He's mimsy at the best of times but he put in a pathetic "tackle" on the edge of our box after having a go at Sessegnon. Just go ffs.

Might have been a bit less sloppy if he hadn't been booed on arrival, but hey.

I don't see the point of his being in the match day squads if he's leaving though.

Annoyingly he made more passes overall, and more successful ones than Lamela or Moura.

Of course, he's (been) by far our best passer of the ball. That's what so annoying about all of this. Even when he's at 50% he's excellent. We know what heights he can hit at 90%.

Could not really hear the booes on the television. From someone who was there, was there much of that going on?

It wasn’t full on booing, but let’s just say he received a “mixed” reception when coming on and plenty of frustration when he did something shit.

In fact the whole crowd‘s frustration at how shit we’ve become was boiling up. Good job we scored when we did because the natives are definitely getting restless.

Yeah, there was a... shall we say... less than enthusiastic reaction to his introduction last night in the ground.

Also some pretty strong reactions to his spectacularly over-hit lump up the pitch to nooneinparticular. As you might imagine.

Last night could have been his last home game. Was there any indication that he was leaving at the end of the game?

Most of his successful passes were backwards. Only a couple of decent forward
Passes. Difference between Lamela and Eriksen is he one of them plays with his head up and faces the opposition. Not Lamela’s best game yesterday but we were worse when he went off and Winks got injured.

I was waiting for Sessegnon to just snap back at him. Strip Eriksen of his shirt if he stays past the window. No need to name him in the squad if this is how he performs and acts when he fucks up.

It's obvious he's only in and around the squad to get more money out of Inter. Mourinho isn't daft, he knows he's playing crap and has admitted as much but he probably understands that £15-20m for Eriksen means he's got his striker and possibly more. He's just there to give Inter the impression we still value him as an asset for 6 months.

Sessegnon doesn't have it in him (right now) - He played the game like he was a 5 years old on his first day of school. He looked like he didn't know WTF was going on.

Watched the game in a Danish Spurs fans pub in Copenhagen...when Eriksen came on there were cheers & groans. Every time he mispasses pub groans- goes to take up a corner , pub groans...and remarks like watch out for first man...

This was not the case few months back- even the locals here are just done with him now when it comes to seeing Spurs.

His form has suffered and his transfer stand complicated things. He has got to move on ASAP. And I hope Mourinho stops playing him. Just infuriating to watch him stroll around the park
