Over his career Son has been great for us and Moura has obviously got some extremely important goals, but both of them together doesn't provide enough craft.. and both of them lacking confidence without Kane to knit it together.. sweet zombie jesus.

More negatives than positives tonight unfortunately, but Lo Celso was fantastic, really impressed by him tonight.

Like said in commentary, the pitch looked massive at times and we just weren't compact enough. I'm still in disbelief that a DM hasn't been highly sought after this window.

I would rather see a back 3 of Foyth, Sanchez and Tanganga than what we had tonight as they are all quick and we can squeeze up the pitch to make the aggressive press work. Plus Lloris can sweep much better than Gazza who gets glued to his line. Son, Moura and Dele have to cover so much ground and they are easy tio bypass when they do press as there is so much pitch for the opposition to play in as our defence rarely squeeze up towards the Half way line when we don't have the ball to make the pitch smaller. And it is because Toby, Verts and Dier are all like oil tankers.

Winks is not a DCM. Sessegnon is not a LB. Dier is not a CM. Moura is not a CF. Square pegs in round holes.

Was pleased to hear some proper rumblings of dissent against Levy and Lewis here tonight. Well overdue. Levy now has 9 days to pull his finger out of his arse before the window shuts!!

Mouras performance tonight was possibly the worst of the season. Absolutely pathetic.

In fact everyone was truly awful bar GLC who was a really bright spark and classy as fuck.

Another poor performance but I thought that GLC was good. You can begin to see what Jose is trying to do but we just dont have the right players in key positions. Central midfield is just awful.

We are crying out for a decent holding midfield player that can use the ball well.

Sessegnon looks terrified every time he gets the ball.

It's going to be a long road and Jose needs to be backed.

That better be Lucas' last game upfront for a while. Convinced he's there because he sometimes jumps really high but his contribution is genuinely negative.

Stack the midfield, play Alli Son Lamela as the front three. Simple.

Perplexingly weak performance tonight. Trend is not even close to pointing upwards either.

Ropey, but two more signings change us completely, plus maybe a shuffle of tactics.
A genuine competent and mobile DM provides more stability for the CB’s and allow the fullbacks get forward more.
A physical presence as focal striker, which should hold the attention of CB’s more and allow Son, Alli etc more space to play in.
Put Lo Celso and Ndombele either side of a DM, and then should provide the dynamism to dominate midfields, plus the positive intent on the ball to unlock our attacking players. Do away with the 3 nat attacking midfield, they get so flustered that they become static.

Good we got the win, but let’s be realistic, they are bottom for a reason, whilst we allegedly have aspirations much much higher, we should have been burying them. We don’t look like putting anyone to the sword. The goals we keep gifting teams are killing us, it saps the confidence.
Doubt anymore signings will happen

Thought our general passing and movement looked a lot quicker and more incisive. That said, Krul hardly had to do anything (bar the 2 goals).

Happy with the performance, generally. Let's build on that and have a day off from the negativity.

Only positive (apart from the win) was Lo Celso - he put in a tireless performance and as each game passes I see a future for him - The rest? Meh. Apart from Alli's goal, I saw very little, which is par of the course for him. Moura, as always head down and blind alley comes to mind. Roll on the end of the season.
