We can take this as exactly the opposite then. Welcome home.

I don't see why Madrid would let him go, with Hazard injury for another 3 weeks, they are a bit thin up top as well.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Injury prone, over 30, 600k pw wages. Yeah sounds right up Daniel’s street ??‍♂️
There are some commercial benefits, which would offset the cost but yes, best to assume that it won't happen than pin our hopes on it only to see them dashed.

For me, Bale although having great technique is mainly a player whose physical attributes gains him the small edges.

Therefore obtaining him now on the downward curve would be counterproductive.

Tribute to Tiffany...

Gareth behave
That's what they said when Zizou came back
And when will you play?
They don't understand
And so I'm

Injured just as much as I can,
Improving on my golfing handicap.
Then Daniel gets away,
Over to Madrid,
And Barnett's on the blower,
And he sounds a bit defeated when he says
"I think we're a loan now,
Seems that Real don't seem to want you around.
I think we're a loan now,
But Spurs don't want to pay a single pound"

Bollocks, sounds like you swallowed a sports science book rather than operating in the real world. A winner and "once in a generation" talent like Bale rejoining could only be positive. He isn't 36 and ready for retirement and has twice the talent of anyone in our squad.

Counterproductive? I really don't understand how anyone can be against this transfer. It's Gareth Bale. He's unlikely to be the player he was when he left us, but for the love of god, he's one of the most dangerous players in world football, shows up on the big occasions and in an attack with Kane and Son, would offer a directness and a very, very genuine goal threat.

He walks into our team. It's as simple as that.

He also said Poch would stay at Spurs within 48 hours of his sacking unless I'm mistaken? And he really is ITK with Poch as he wrote his book! What a knob. Used to respect him when he used to appear on Revista de la Liga on Sky. Turns out he's a joke.
