The guy’s obviously got a very high opinion of himself, which you kind of need to make it as a footballer, but yeah, I’d probably tell him he’s not gonna play anyone and see if he still wants to see out his last 18 months. There’s also the fact that if you do that, he’s probably got friends in the dressing room who might get upset. It’s always complicated ostracising players.Well at least stop putting him in any squads then. Not sure if he is still expecting to be considered for the England euro squad. Probably is, based on his reaction to being left out
Think that's a bit of a stretch. To this date I can't think of a case of any sportsman taking litigation against their club for mental health reasons. The club have a dilemma inasmuch as Rose has mental health issues, so has to be treated accordingly. If banished to train with the U23's or something and his mental health worsened, that would leave the club vulnerable to all sorts of claims / litigation.

Ohhh christ.
It's football ffs. FOOTBALL. Think about all the actual bad stuff going on in the world.
He's on 60k a week, he'll be fine.

remember when he got too big for his boots and was say shit like Spurs dont pay me what im worth, stop buying players i have to google, i want to win trophies, i want to go back up north, fastfoward couple years, now his gonna run down his contract for over a year (despite the club trying to sell him and tell him his not wanted), rejected a move to watford, rightly on the fringes now, and now a bust up with the manager, life comes at you fast Danny boy, nothing but trouble even when we were doing good, he rocked the boat, get rid asap

Maybe, but the club still have a duty of care towards the player & his state of mind is well documented, so the club have to be a little bit careful in their dealings with him. In truth, he is player who I would worry about once he can no longer play football at the highest level & maybe the club need to have him talking to him now & hopefully getting him to some sort of equilibrium before he leaves us.
Mental health has fuck all to do with money.Ohhh christ.

Well that's a struggle for anyone though, isn't it?Not if you are living hand to mouth. It really is a struggle in all ways. Believe me, I know.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my mental health wouldn't be half as bad if I was earning 60 grand a year, let alone week.Of course. But money - lack of it - can badly impact your mental health.
