Ok for the fourteenth time, there is no one in the box.

But there was 1 second later after his touch? There were people running into the box there. So you can repeat it all you want if that makes you feel better.

Christ that was like watching paint dry. We look more solid but offensively we're toothless. Son, Alli (barring the run/through ball for Moura) and Lamela have been anonymous.

Thought we have had positive periods in the game so far, start was much better. Glaring weaknesses out there, won't all be fixed this window for sure.

Going to need another effort in the second.

My thoughts so far:

Tanganga is not a fullback
We really need a DM, why aren’t we linked with one? Winks is absolutely not a DM
We need a Striker, no one is in the box. Parrott should’ve been on the bench
Lamela has been quiet today

You can really tell that it's a team patched together with whatever players are fit and available. Tanganga should probably be taken off. I can't see him not getting another yellow against Sarr.

Strange game from Alli. Two or 3 great moments, working hard, but slowing down play, losing the ball at every opportunity.

By the way, Mourinho's genius new plan of the right back playing further up the pitch... hmm.

Aurier just getting in the way of Lamela and Lo Celso, and he's not technical enough to be a part of thier build up.

It's not been that bad, but we need sorting out

Our midfield just doesn't have the confidence and movement. Every time a player has the ball, there's no pass, so we end up passing backwards until our CBs hoof it to the front again
