No thanks, Moura is far from perfect but good enough. We could use a set-piece specialist, without Eriksen (and even Trippier) we got worse in that area, someone like BF would be great but oh well.

Currently we have Alli, Son, Eriksen, Lamela, Moura, Sessegnon and potentially Lo Celso as attacking options.

Eriksen is clearly off, so that leaves 4/5 players.

If we bring in a young-un like Eze then that takes us back up to 5/6 players, which would be enough.

I wonder if Jose has doubts over the reliability of Alli or Lamela over the course of a whole season, so thinks Willian might be an option?

If this does happen, you'd expect someone to be sold...

...or Sessegnon to left-back?

I don’t think it does any of the sort dude. His best years are well past him. Imagine if he is the Eriksen replacement though, we’d come full circle!

he has been Chelseas best player this season.

Some players have the natural fitness and psychological desire to play at a high level well into their 30s. Willian looks like one of those players.

So if we got him on a free, paid him £150k a week and had him for 3 years, that's £23m for 3 season's work. If he performs (a big 'if') that's an absolute bargain in this day and age.

Well worth the gamble for an experienced PL player.

Was phenomenal against us the other day, absolutely controlled the game. That said, he’s going to be 32, he’s at that point where his ability to keep up could fall off a cliff almost like a flick of a switch. Then again, David Silva is still at it and he’s just turned 34.

I’d rather not. Next season we go in with Son, a Lamela and Lucas who’ll be 28, Dele and Lo Celso who’ll be 24, and Clarke who’ll be almost 20. That’s a really nice spread of ages for our AM positions.

Just using us to negotiate a new contract. Chelsea fans will lap it up if they think he's mugged us off again.

He had his chance and he blew it, wisely so TBH.

But I'd rather have Eze in the summer than this prick
