I think the ship has sailed already.

Tbh I don't think he's the guy we should sign. Where would he play ? Lo Celso for me ia better than Alli; NDombele is the main B2B and for the last we need a DM.

Why do you think the ship has sailed? He reportedly was ready to choose us over Utd in the summer so I don't see why his thoughts on that would change... Maybe even more so in our favour with Mourinho in. Just depends if we pay what Sporting want or at least match Utd imo (who knows the chances of that)

And for where would he play... Competition! For too long a lot of our players have had none at all and look what that's done to their performances the past year.

MAN UTD CLOSE TO FERNANDES AGREEMENT
Manchester United
are close to reaching an agreement with Sporting Lisbon to sign Bruno Fernandes in a deal which could be worth up to £60m.

It is understood that the Portuguese could complete his move after his final appearance for Sporting in Friday's derby with Benfica in Lisbon. United will pay £43m up front for the Portugal international with an extra £17m in potential add-ons.
The 25-year-old has also agreed personal terms with United which will see him earn around £120,000 a week at Old Trafford.

Part of the negotiations over a deal for Fernandes included Manchester United not wanting him to play in Friday's game but the player and Sporting insist that he was going to play in order to say a proper goodbye to the club and the supporters.

It is understood that the deal could progress very quickly over the weekend and there is speculation in Portugal that he could even be in the stands for United's clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Super Sunday.

The deal will be the second biggest ever involving a Portuguese player leaving a Portuguese club to go elsewhere after Joao Felix's £107m move to Atletico Madrid last summer from Benfica.

Have to say I'd be very surprised if those figures Sky are using are correct. Especially the up-front fee.

ALREADY DRUNK BUT STILL LOW HOW DOES THAT WORK?
" .... Marley was dead, Little Daniel peered over the top of his wire rimmed spectacles at the latest spreadsheet, grinned then mumbled, at least we won't do a Leeds"

You can either have a wake at the possible outcome of Bruno to United, or celebrate like the summer we sold bale and wasted the wedge we got for him quicker than a sex addicted lottery winner.
