I would love for this to happen as he would be perfect for how Jose asks Aurier to play. From what I've read the City fans think he has played well and dont want him to leave. I think he is annoyed at his lack of minutes so wants to leave.

I would much rather him than Semedo. Also Pep has said he hopes he doesnt leave but hinted it could happen.

Cancelo has played the full 90 minutes in each of their last three games. It would be a bit odd to sell him straight after he gets a run in the team. Or have City got someone else lined up?

Could be that he’s forced his way in, or could be shop window

Would love this to be true but it aint. Fee and salary beyond Mr Levy's willingness, as well as City only selling assets overseas.

I'm all for.

Especially as we are now heading in the realms of player names I can almost pronounce. (y)

As reported by Manchester Evening News and others

It wasn’t tho, it was reported by a shitty Spanish source.

Both referencing the same Spanish source which isn’t the greatest. City will hardly slash his fee in half after 6 months either.

I agree. It does sound very far fetched and I am not sure the Spanish source is renowned for being the best.

The info from D1 does say we are negotiating with a right back though, so you never know.

FWIW we looked at him the summer we buggered up replacing walker.

Could he be thinking about the Euros in the summer? He didn't make the world cup squad in 2018, not sure who they have at right back to be honest but if he wants playing time then it must be because he wants to get into the Portugese squad for the Euros.

It explicitly states they reported it, which they did, as evidenced by - y'know - the link to them reporting it. Lord above.

A link to them regurgitating info from elsewhere. That's not a report, it's a rehash of unreliable information.

You wouldn't refer to a round-up of rumours on BBC Sport as 'reported by the BBC would you'? Because that's literally the same thing.

I probably would, yes, safe in the knowledge that someone pretending to be an internet police officer would be along shortly to correct me and remind everyone that they take this shit far too seriously. And I would continue to laugh.
