I havent really tracked the transfer but does it seem a Jose signing or is this like a Levy opportunistic signing?

Would be interesting to kno if there is an obligation to buy after a certain amount of appearances and how high the buying clause actually is.

Do you think it's likely that Levy would do an opportunistic signing from Portugal right after Mourinho has joined?

Benfica have been caught out in recent years by either selling talents off cheap or loaning them with a low buyout. Jovic recently being the best example (Frankfurt took up the 7m option and sold him for 60m!). Apparently he does not get on with the manager at Benfica so why not loan him for 18 months with a high buyout clause? The fact they've put a 50m Euro tag on him suggests they think he could be worth that and he's not just a random journeyman.

To be fair, fans of other clubs do the same too when their teams are on the verge of sealing transfers. So much so that some clubs even use that as part of their announcement vids.
