Not that it hasn't been said on countless match threads in the past, but Eriksson should never set foot on a pitch for us again.

I know we were improved in the second half, but that's every game with the exception of the Southampton game, but I'm not a fan of celebrating moral victories as we're doing it way to often these days.

Don't agree with the approach of letting the other team have the ball and invite them on, this shite of hoofing kick outs in hope while we're at it. It's like watching Ireland play.

To be fair, Robertson should have been sent off. Aubamayang literally got sent off for the exact same tackle after VAR review earlier today. it wasn't even a free kick in this match.

Infuriating to say the least.

I think people are getting a little carried away. Lo Celso and Lamela clearly made an impact but Liverpool were knackered by the time they came on. I don't think Lamela and Lo Celso can offer that sort of energy over a full 90 mins so probably why they were left on the bench.

I suspect if both had started we may not have been a great deal better off sadly.
Probably right but we can dream.

So Fuck off with your pragmatism!

What I like about Jose is that he is brave enough to sub off any non-performing players (irrespective of status or seniority in the team) and also to give the subs sufficient time to see if they can have an impact in the game. Poch rarely did that.
Alli. Kane.

Nope

Encouraging comments from a lot of you in here. Let’s hope we’ve turned or are about to turn a corner.

Eriksen, rose, jan as much as it hurts me, and aurier need to go. We need to move on. There is still the core of a very good team there.

If we played this game under Pochettino we'd have 'had a go' and got swept aside 3 or 4 nil rather than have any chance at nicking a point and quite easily all 3.

It's not black or white, there are greys. Complaining about parking the bus doesn't mean we should go all on attack.

Jose just said on swedish tv that Lamela will likely start the next game and would have today but they didn't want to risk it as he's just coming back from injury

You freeze frame the Son and Lo Celso chances and 99% of football fans would assume they scored. Anyone who thinks it's bad to be happy with the tactics/performance couldn't have been watching

What is the spell that Eriksen has on managers? They just keep playing him.

Alli has at least contributed more goals and assists.

Need to play players that want to play. It only takes one player to start showing determination for our to start trickling throughout the team

(No more comments from me this evening)
Feel more confident about the ongoing games we have than I did yesterday. Respect to our team. (Yes, I know we lost but as clichéd as it is ‘there’s positives)

So that is the european champions, club world champions and premiership champions elect?
What a boring boring team. Seriously did anyone think that we were watching a very special team here?

He's a great player at the end of the day and great players can have great moments even when they have a bad run of form.

We were just as knackered if not worse. The big difference was that they offered outlets for passing on the ground instead of hoofing it at open spaces
