Yesterday I just didn’t want to get battered now I’m angry we didn’t at least get a point.
Thought Moura looked positive, attached them and drew some fouls, Lo Celso and Lamela need to start. Tangana looked very assured, impressed. him and Sanchez looked good

Lo Celso major upgrade on the last two seasons Eriksen, no reason to ever see Eriksen start for us again other just for the fun of it to piss us fans off.

I think we did everything right tactics wise today. We sat back, invited the pressure and just let them run themselves tired and then poked for it with the addition of Lamela and Lo Celso. I'm sure people will fuck about with not starting them but I actually think that if we started with the team that ended the game on the pitch the scoreline would flatter Liverpool a whole lot more. We actually had Liverpool looking limp in offence which we should take out of this. Second half we were the better team in my oppinion and we should have won it, or at the very least snapped a point up from it. Liverpool lucky with refs as per usual, Robertson should definatly have been sent off in my oppinion on the base of the red card awarded to Aubameyang earlier today. Not happy, not really fuming as I was expecting us to lose but a tad bit frustrated as they were there for the taking. Let's see where this transfer window takes us but there are some promising signs. COYS

Oh ffs putting the right starting lineup is part of the tactics. Stop saying Mourinho got the tactics right. We were completely dominated for 70 minutes until he actually changed the tactic

if we had tried that from the get go they would have carved us up. it worked in the last 20 because they were intent on seeing out the game.

People who dont understand our set up and how our tactics nullified their game just dont understand football.

Probably the same people who criticize Mayweather in boxing and say "Stop dancing around and just windmill the other guy."

The whole point was to give them possession but stop them using it effectively which we mainly did. Then counter attack them which we did well. If Son and GLC had scored people would have called it a tactical masterclass to get a win.

But for terrible finishing we could of won that. Fucking frustrating.

If we kept the ball, if we could pass to our own players, if we were quicker to loose balls, if we string more than two passes together, if we had coherent movement, if we had 11 players who really gave a fuck, if we coukd finish chances, yeah, we could've won!!!

Yeah, we do this to ourselves way to often. Matches always change during the last 15-10 mins depending on the score. We did play better, absolutely. But a part of that is that Liverpool backed off their high press and started to focus on not conceding.

If the only part of a match that a team plays well is the last 10 minutes then maybe, just maybe it has more to do with how your opponent played the last 10 minutes.

We were better for the majority of that 2nd half though

Moura MOTM
loCelso and Lamela should be starters from here on
Tanganga looked very comfortable and should get more game time
Erikssen can fuck of asap

1st half was disappointing but tactics understandable considering our recent form.
2nd half is how we should be playing for remainder of the season.

Levy always over pricing players so we cant get rid of who we should be letting go. Eriksen, Wanyama, Rose, Vertonghen, Lamela, Walker Peters should have all have been sold and replacements come in.

Will be happy if I never see Eriksen in a Spurs shirt again. He is undoing all the good will of his first years at the club with the last year or so. Completely different team when he went off. Build around the players that are the future not the one who is the past.

I think that performance restored a bit of pride that has been absent for a long time, ok there was a couple of passengers but overall we didn’t lie down and special praise for Moura who run his socks off today and targanda

People bang on about Eriksen but Alli has been abysmal and yet somehow plays about every single fucking minute. How he starts over Lamela I have no idea
If that ball goes to alli rather than son and I honestly think it’s 1-1, he tried some forward balls but no movement

Anyone saying we don't need a striker will hopefully change their tune after this. Any half decent striker would have scored at least 2 today. Goals win games. We're not scoring enough now and that's more important to us in the short term with Harry out for so long
