No one made you buy it .
You pay what you feel provides value.

Maybe you can still sell it and not moan.

unfortunately I’m emotionally involved just like the rest of us who love the club

we are all entitled to a little moan every now and again!

Not often I agree with Charlie Nicolas but he is pretty spot on here.
So you agree with Charlie Nicholas that hiring a manager to either improve our league position or win silverware is unambitious?

Interesting ?

This assumes that supporting a football club is the same as any other purchase which for many of us its not

There lie the problem!

I support the same team and had I purchased a ticket I would not moan about it .

I would moan if we lost however the price I would have paid would not have been a factor!

Not often I agree with Charlie Nicolas but he is pretty spot on here.

He misses the fact that Poch had clearly lost the dressing room and wasn't getting results anymore.

It's a shame, but once that happens it would seem that in the modern game, you have to get rid of the manager.

I do agree, though, with the general theme of the argument that Spurs need to look to improve season after season. We've regressed badly over the last 24 months and for a club with our resources that's criminal.

This is especially so, when you look at what 'smaller' clubs are doing in the transfer market and playing styles, etc.

The fact that we can't seem to sign a couple of fullbacks and a defensive midfielder is a complete joke.

There's a real lack of belief at the club it would seem; we need to step up and demand success. We need to assume we have the right to success. That's how you build an elite-club mentality.

This season is a gimme. And if the summer doesn't go well, I think it will be DL and execs taking the heat if next season doesn't represent an tangible uptick in results.

Zuzee is in a comfy spot imo.

more on the general point the owners have messed up! we had a successful side 2/3 seasons ago but instead of trying to improve that squad they have sat on there hands for 18 month let the team stagnate despite the continuous warnings that the squad needed a refresh and evolve which has left us in the mess we are at the moment where certainly on the pitch we are rapidly regressing!

Have to say given we have so many players out we can be proud of this, if we’d taken our chances we’d have at least a draw here. Not always pretty but Jose is working with what he’s got which is a team inferior to Liverpool in virtually every position with 5 of his preferred best XI players out injured (Lloris, Davies, Sissoko, Ndombele & Kane) so promising signs for the future under Jose for me if we can sign 4-5 players to fit how he wants to play (RB,CB?,CM,AM,ST) and we get our best players back fit I think he can do something good with us.

Considering the vast majority expected us to get a severe fisting, we did well and could have won it with better finishing and/or a completed pass or two.

People can moan about the starting lineup and the tactics, but it's all part of the recipe - I think we'd have been thumped if we started the same way we ended

Mourinho delivered a masterclass in that second half - better finishing and we win that. Promising signs amidst a distraught feeling.

Proud of that display. Had every right to get a draw, but the mentality was so much better. Need to have Lamela and Lo Celso starting. Their tenacity is exactly what we are missing when they are not playing.

Spot on mate. Jose plays with what he’s got, our team was massively inferior especially with all the players we had out injured so he pretty much had to set up that way to have any chance, if we had all our players fit like they did I think we get at least a draw there.

Definitely - I also think that starting with the whole 'parked bus' thing has a big impact on the opposition. I think it lulled them into a false sense of security and into a bit of complacency, so when we started picking it up they couldn't cope with it. It's just a shame we weren't able to take the full opportunity.

I mean, there's arguments to say they should have been ending the game with less men on the pitch, but aside from that...

Can't really argue with the experience Jose has. I think today he added in the bit Man Utd had missing when they played liverpool.

No Lloris, Davies, Ndombele or Kane and with a player making his debut I thought we were good. Second half we were excellent and Liverpool were well and truly on the ropes, all you had to do is look at Klopp to see how worried he was. He was going mad at his players.

Mourinho got it really spot on today, very brave throwing tanganga into the deep and it worked a treat. Game plan was perfect and I fancy he found our best side in our second half.
