Not sure why the sadness at losing KWP - he's just not good enough for a club with CL ambitions.

Probably a solid pro for a mid-table or lower table side (like Andros Townsend) but nothing more, Neither Poch or JM seemed to trust him. Says it all

Exactly. He's just not good enough for us. And this has nothing to do with his football ability - he's just not physically developed enough to cope with men's football.

People are rightly pissed off at the way Poch treated him.

How did Poch "treat" him?

Not picking a player who made defensiver errors every time he played, looked light weight on the ball, positionally suspect, and lacking in pace is hardly mal-treatment

Shame we can’t just go out and get Aarons and Ferguson tbh, that’s what a big club would do and it’d lock down RB for years to come.

sounds like when we used to stockpile right backs. Although now I wouldn’t be against it if it forced Aurier out.

I meant the lack of a loan.

I think he planned to use him after the sale of trippier but he didn't cut it

Probably would have hoped a full pre season would help and I'm guessing he would have loaned him this winter as well given it didn't work out

football.london understands that Walker-Peters would only be allowed to leave if a replacement can be brought in and the preference would be to add another British player to prevent the club from falling into similar issues to previous campaigns when Pochettino had too many foreign players to fit into their Champions League squad.

Norwich City right-back Max Aarons would fit the bill and is a player Spurs have looked closely at over the past 18 months. The 20-year-old would not come cheap though and could prove difficult to prise away from the relegation battlers in mid-season without a bid of more than £30million.

I know this is spurs so I could see us being left with one right back. But if KWP is going to palace it must mean we are going to pick up another right back.

no, I only thought we’d buy if both him and Aurier went. I thought Poch was going to give KWP a go.

The same Poch who dropped KWP for a whole season after his MotM performance against Newcastle in his debut game in the league for us?

Semedo is much better defensively than Aurier. When he plays, his main job is to cover for Messi. He's not gonna do much going forward though.

Id take this guy if we could replace both RB otherwise I’d like to get someone who is less of a gamble and is a guaranteed anchor in defence
