Time up. For his own benefit he would need to move to a lesser league. He's become that slow it like watching someone struggle in quicksand

Was painful at one point the second half he was giving everything to get back into position but he was still not making any ground and it was just his body failing him so sad

Could not figure out why he stayed on today. Should have pulled him and kept Sess at LB.

I love Verts, he's been a phenomenal servant of our club, but the more I think about his performances this season I realize it's time to sell him. It's rebuild time and I would rather us give Foyth a shot at redemption or Tanganga a chance in his place (or Sess if he's playing LB).

Everyone couldnt understand why Poch wanted rid and didnt play him at start if season. Feel sorry for Poch, treated so bad by Levy the best manager we have had since Sir Bill.

Failure to improve the squad over several years has come to haunt us. The easy choice is change managers but many of us knew this was not going to bring a real change. Even the new manager bounce lasted but a few games. I support Spurs so hope our new manager can turn things around but fear he is past it

What happened to him during the summer? Surely you can't lose it that quickly. Even Toby looks heavy and can't move well. Surely Sanchez has to play...

I dont recall Jan being this poor and slow last season... it feels like it only just happened as soon as this season started... even in pre season he looked ok.

Am I just imagining it and he was actually shit last season?

Dier is also the same

Dier is easily explained as he had nearly a year out, but fuck knows with the rest of our squad.

Klopp used disappointment to stoke the fires, our Champions League defeat seems to have annihilated our squad (but then the rot had set in well before then, mid-season, for some reason).

2019 sucked for Tottenham and we're still recovering. Hopefully Jose manages to find the fix sooner rather than later.

A mate told me last year that he thought Jan had lost a yard. I didn't see it. But it looks like he was right.

I can think of one particular story that circulated about him in the summer!
