I really appreciate that SC is definitely a upright community as the alleged incident did upset almost everyone. But to think some feel our club can be above all others is probably straw-clutching and naive TBH. Racism didn't happen in our stadium doesn't mean they didn't happen, as some alluded to. They are just not reported by players or cameras.
As some posters said, racism is everywhere. It's a global issue, a society issue, an anthropology issue. Education is the key yes. Every single one I'm sure has some preference to people one wish to encounter. That really is a racial preference and there is no wrong in that. Of course when things get offensive and derogatory, it should not be laid out in public. You can often be sure such presentations are from people of poor education background or upbringing.
But my point is we shouldn't really expect racism can be free of existent, just so because we are Tottenham Hotspur, much less in this diversifying global village. Is not a divine given we are or can be that pristine and pure club.
Also, when the crowd gets vile, I don't understand why they got the sticks when the players are probably the one that started being the jerks first. Is not like the fans started chanting racist remarks right from the start they enter the field. Some maybe, but more often these remarks are reactions to the players' actions too. Rudiger was a prick in that tackle and I think he hit Son first some was saying and carried on the act dramatically from Son's kick. Not condoning the offensive reaction from the crowd if there was, but neither was Rudiger a Saint as he was just playing victimisation IMO, more so with his tweets afterwards.
