Racist abuse in our stands, we need to face it if it’s there.

I agree. I’ve heard stuff about Aurier (more dog whistle stuff), Gallas being called a black c word, against YP Lee as well. We’re not innocent.

Yeah, it's not just black players. I don't get to a huge amount of games in the last couple of years but every game I do there is some very dodgy stuff thrown at Son especially if he's having a bad game, Chink etc.

Worst stuff I have seen is an away game at West Brom under Sherwood, got a 3-3 from 3-0 down but the period when we were losing was just really bad in terms of language and abuse. Our support had already disrupted a minutes silence because they were getting tanked up in the bar and still chanting, we then conceded a goal within a couple of minutes, a couple of total fucktards rush out from the bar, not having seen any of the match or the goal, and just starts abusing Sherwood, Levy, then calling Adebayor lazy * N word* and then youngsters like Townsend, Kane, and that Zeki Fryers was a useless black **** and what was he doing in the team. When they then eventually turned around and asked what happened, I told them it was Chiriches error and got "I knew it would be that gypsy ****".

Some are just nasty people in any case, some just lose it in the heat of the moment, booze is a factor too, but every club has them and it's not some grand revelation today.

Rudiger was involved in the red card incident and was taking a lot of abuse of all kinds I believe he bought it on himself but I just can never begin to grasp why anyone would go full on racist it's pathetic, I mean what kind of moron thinks it's clever? I guess they just don't think. Let's hope they sort it out if it did happen get the guy and finish his connection with the club.

Today I heard the chant "murderer" chanted at Alonso, now, i dont know the details of what happened when he was a youth player but for me, on a human level, that has no place in football.
This is the kind of person you are dealing with during a football match, these people sit around me and I class as decent people but in the moment say shit like that.
All round shit day. I'm told a can of paint has spilt all over the floor at home and it's my fault as I stacked it like Jenga! Balls!

Yep, whole away section hissing. Was confused as we didn’t see what had gone on with their players down other end and assumed the announcements were about the Chelsea fans.

surprised I remember all the hissing from a few years back but thought they calmed that. Hissing is the worst abuse IMO as it is basically laughing at the holocaust.

It wasn't us FFS. The chavs were giving it the Nazi salutes and gas chamber noises throughout.

Half of them should have been carted off, and the club should be denied an away capacity for a game or two.

I have never, ever heard racist shite at the lane in my life. The one time anything happened was that Greek bloke who got banned immediately.

I was at a game v wolves, we got beat I can’t remember when must be 10 year or so ago and I heard constantly hard Robbie Keane being called a “Fenian ****” the London accent is quite something. Pretty sure there was reference to a potato to.

*Must not make any comments that could be construed as politically motivated*

Anti-semitism in the Chelsea support will not be reported unless any of the perpetrators are card-carrying Labour members. Also, is it really any wonder that racists feel more emboldened in our current society?

Oops.

He was nearly 3 times over the speed limit and under the influence and killed a 19 year old women. His punishment was just a 3 year ban and fine which to him was peanuts. Us chanting he is a murderer is fully justified.

alonso should be behind bars.

While I agree he was tried and and we shouldn’t be making “I know you are but what am I” statements. We lost out shit tonight, against Chelsea again, we are better than that.

There are cameras and microphones all over the new stadium. If it is true, then I hope we deal with it swiftly and harshly..........if he is mistaken, then I expect him to be shown the footage and asked to identify what had been said or sung.

Might have been a coin as well. It looked to to me as though one of the Chelsea players was picking one up.
I don't think it was, it looked too big and the wrong shape and it was just thrown onto the pitch, I don't know what it was though.

I find this difficult to believe tbh.

For Rudiger to hear monkey chants, there would need to be a sizeable number of supporters making those noises.

Looks like to me, he wasn't happy at being abused and he pulled the race card.

They were abusing Rudiger because of him feigning injury, not because of his skin colour.

Let's wait for the evidence. If I'm proven wrong, I'll hold up my hands.
My exact thoughts.
I doubt very much there would have been racist chanting towards him (as in en masse), if some idiotic individual or two were making monkey noises (is that even a thing in English stadiums) I doubt he would even have heard it over the booing for the Son incident.

I'm not an apologist for racist behaviour, and nor do I believe in a 62000 crowd there no individuals capable of such abhorrent behaviour, but I find it highly unlikely that at that particular moment in time there would have been enough people doing it for Rudiger to be able to hear such insults over the other booing.

Not sure you can class that as racist. Vegetablist maybe.
