Robson seems to be turning in some decent performances of late. I'm not too familiar with him but seen his name mentioned a few times. Good to see. Cirkin also on the score sheet again today.
I wonder how many (if any) of the second years will head out on loan for next season?
Hoping to see plenty of the young players in general get more experience through loans from January onwards. I've missed that over the last few years. Tracking Roles progress this year has had its fun moments though. More to come I hope.

What are peoples thoughts on Cirkin? I know Jose name checked him recently and he is highly rated but I've not seen enough of him to make an informed judgement. Is he anywhere near good enough to be a first team player or does he need a loan?

Extremely good player. I would not loan him out, but watch how he goes in pre-season.

I am at the Cambridge United match Roles is on the bench,Marsh is a starter and he has picked up a booking in the first 20min.
Cambridge United have been terrible and they are 3-0 down at HT, Marsh has been steady but nothing more than that, the game has been a poor game with loads of bookings and I will not be surprised if we don't see a red at some point.

Glad to see that Mourinho is willing to let some of our promising lads head out on loan.
But those killing Pochettino for changing the loan policy would do well to read Townsend, Caulker, Kane, and Mason’s comments on how disruptive and damaging endless loans can be. We need to find a middle ground in our strategy because we squandered a lot of talent just continually sending them out to random clubs.
It was a big credit to Sherwood and Pochettino in 2014-2016 era in bringing guys like Kane, Mason, Bentaleb, Townsend, Winks, etc in from the cold and giving them a chance. They may not have all made it here, but if we had continued with our previous loan policy they may never have had pro careers at the top level. All about developing a strategy that has the right balance going forward.

he has his own thread in general football too that we've been posting in.
he's getting a lot of attention in portugal now and if he carries on progressing i wouldn't be surprised to see a bigger club trigger his release clause in the summer.

Personally think he should stick it out for another season and get the guaranteed game time from a coach that trusts him. His development has been interrupted enough as it is and the last thing he needs to do is go somewhere else and have a coach not care for him again and find himself needing yet another move just to get gametime.
