Dier in front between the CBs is so fucking assuring, like the title-challenging year we had. I don't care he still has some mistakes on and off. He's the best we could have in front of the defence right now. Miles better than Winks vacating that spot and leave us so opened.

Probably. An indictment of transfer policies past, on the list of things to be put right going forward.

So much more energy and movement than that performance vs United, and many Pochettino games toward the end of his tenure.

Movement like that with some quick countering play is what we've been missing for ages. Obviously still early days, but the feel good factor is creeping back in, you can see it in the players.

Begs the question why we were prepared to pay so much for a third choice AM, because it seemed to me he was third choice in that list with Poch too.

Think Pochettino was very slowly integrating him and I believe he would have been more versatile in Pochettino’s system. I can only see GLC playing as a no 10 under Mourinho

We need to improve the GD. Might be crucial if we get to a place where we are fighting for top 4. Should always keep pushing at this point.

And winning by five does that. We have a lot of games coming up now so there's no need to unnecessarily over do it and potentially pick up injuries.

Happy as a pig in shit.

Might even let the missus put up the Christmas tree. Of course, providing she can get all the gear out of the loft. :sneaky:

Emphatic win and a clean sheet. Literally the best outcome we could have hoped for.

We can sit back and enjoy the rest of the weekend's football now. Pressure's on, you muggy Thursday night-playing Goons: hope West Ham stuff you!

Excellent performance but have to say Burnley were absolutely terrible.

Your post match analysis tends to be: the team that lost were terrible.

Like, every time.

Credit where it’s due. We spanked them and played well...
