If you've got a couple of hours spare, like low resolution video and want to know what a really bad Spurs team looks like....enjoy

I'd like to know everyones thoughts, I grew up on this, my modern day love of today’s Spurs is given perspective by this team.

Odd thing is, Campbel, Ginola, Ferdinand, Klinsmann, Berti, Anderton, Carr... Some very decent players there surrounded by some not so good ones, not to mention a fuckton of injuries.

What a very strange team they were.

Bit of a myth that Ferdinand was still a good player when we signed him. One of the worst strikers we've had in the Premier League era. Was totally done, but kept living on his reputation.

Both Berti and Klinsmann more or less finished by then as well, JK had one good game left in him luckily.

Why would you say that? It's blatantly untrue. Ferdinand may well have had his better days behind him but 30-odd goals over 130 something appearances strongly suggest he's nowhere near being "One of the worst strikers we've had in the Premier League era", particularly given the period in which he played.

Massively over the top with that IMO. Massively.

It's like Helder Postiga and Andy Booth never happened.

Ferdinand wasn’t anywhere near as bad as that and a ‘more or less finished’ Klinsmann scored 4 against Wimbledon to ease off very real relegation fears.

Loved Berti as a cult player but he was never overly great for us. He did chip the ball (via an old fashioned scoop) over an oncoming Carlton Palmer then turned to the crowd, smiled that handsome smile and gave us a thumbs up, which will be etched in my memory forever, so that’s nice.

But yeah, Ferdinand was certainly not ‘totally done’ though mismanagement from Gross didn’t help his career either by playing him when he was injured (which he talked about in detail in later years).

We had an amazing amount of crap in the 90’s, they weren’t amongst them. Weirdly, I look on those days fondly because the atmosphere at games was almost always excellent despite how shit we were. Park Lane concourse at half time always full and people singing with beer flying everywhere for the whole 15 minutes. I do miss that even though I’m an old **** now and would probably moan if I was caught up in it!

Ferdinand past his best was still clearly better than the likes of Rasiak, Andy Booth, Steve Slade and Sol Campbell.

Rabbi seems to be forgetting that not long after he signed, Big Les pulled/tore his stomach muscles and had a torrid time with it.

The worst thing about us in the 90s was our absolutely dreadful medical/physio setup.

A bit of time travel to the mid to late 1970's Spurs would be cathartic.

Stuff so bad it was actually fun to endure.

Loved the early part and the late part of the 90s. Back when football was about something. When Ginola would have a smoke at half time and Iversen upon leaving a night club very late would smack 1000 pounds on the table for his friends to keep having fun. There was a certain air of devil-may-care, bohemian sort of "Fuck it who cares if we finish 14th, we are still the best. Ever." I also remember the seasons in the mid-90s when we finished like 8th or something. It was just top of the mountain.
I'm saying all of this with a touch of nostalgia of course.

Sadly, those were the days when I could afford to go all the time.
I used to fork out a fortune to watch that shit... Still loved every minute of it though!

When do you reckon we’ll change it?
